Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop featuring Special Guest Brian King.  Brian has been and will continue to be an inspiration to me - He is so vibrant, full of energy which show through in projects, I just love his work.  After watching his YouTube projects I now hear his cheery  voice as I read through all of his wonderful project details, tip and hints on his blog.     Deciding what wonderful project to case was a challenge in itself, as so many of Brians projects appeal to me, one thing that stands out and gets my attention immediately is how Brian uses border repetition to create layers - I just adore them!  I also love how he incorporates DSP into his projects - something I should use more, Stamping Up DSP is just so pretty, I always look at it and are afraid to cut! Many of you ask questions about the colours, card size and how I did my bows, so today I have made another version of the card and will provide you with all the details: Now for the details for the card: Stamping Flowers are from the absolutely lovely Sale-A-Bration Flowering Fields  stamp set, if you have fallen in love with it and just have to have it don't hesitate to order because it is only available for a limited time.  I have used Basic Black Archival ink for stamping. I added the adorable butterfly today, just love it! I used Stamp-a-ma-jig  to position the flowers so that I could achieve this layout - it takes out all the guess work! Welcome, today I made a card for a very special someone, not for any particular reason, just to let him know When I saw the Global Design Project this week, it was the Heart that took my eye: I have taken the design quite literally, the squares are popped up on dimensionals and I also raised the sentiment. My husbands favourite colour is Blue, I used the small heart from Tin of Cards to create the background by stamping off 3 times before re-inking in Marina Mist, I then went over the lighter hearts with Heat & Stick powder then added Dazzling Diamonds. The sentiments are from You're So Sweet, I used masking to create the "I", and I just love my new white embossing powder.  I used the banner as an arrow, and edged with Dazzling Diamonds.  I finished the inside of the card using the heart thinlet and underlaying with Marina Mist. Freshly Made Sketches has a wonderful challenge this week - the layout can make for a quick and simple card in no time with the use of co-ordinating DSP:   Kim from the "Clean Team" put together a simple colour-blocked type sketch, its perfect for patterned papers, or as you can see from the design team there are lots of other choices on how you could complete the sketch - just click on the sketch below to see I decided that I would use the lovely "Pretty Petals" Designer Series Paper, and was able to use one of my favourite colours in the process, what do you think? Calypso Coral is so bright and cheerful, and I love the combination with Olive Green and Very Vanilla; the best thing about the SU range is that the DSP co-ordinates perfectly with cardstock and inks. I've made it back again this week for #GDP003, I saw the theme earlier this week and have been racking my brain as to what I could come up with, here it is: If you haven't already guessed here is the theme for this week: I made the pram by cutting a circle from framelits, then marked halfway, and in the upper portion divided into 6 to work out where I wanted to fold to create the top of the pram (I did a test run on plain paper, and worked out that I only need score 4 of the 6 lines). Now the dilemma, I rummaged through my DSP and wasn't happy with anything I was finding, they were all to busy or bright and wouldn't highlight the folds in the pram, that's when it hit me - I was  partially  taken with  a card from #GDP002 by Guest Design Team Member  Carolina Evans , I can use the little flower from the Cottage Greetings stamp set!
