It's that time again, the " Enjoy the little things in life - Design Team Video Blog Hop" is here to  help you to be more creative and give you some great ideas and tips. This month you are in for a treat/sneak peak - we are going to be giving you inspiration with the stamp sets we won from Prize Patrol at Onstage earlier this month! I won the Around the Corner stamp set, it contains 18 photopolymer stamps, and today I am going to show you that there is more about this set than just cormers! To change up the stamping I have used "masking" one of my favourite techniques, and I use it all the time..... and as I had a little "planning mishap" with my balloon stamping I have a tip in my video of what do do when you stamped images don't fit in your punch. March is a very busy time with a number of celebrations in early March, so I have my work cut out for me this week.  This card is for someone very special and dear to me I saw this amazing card on Pinterest - love the layout of the banner, then I drew colour inspiration from the Global Design Team's colour challenge: Daffodil Delight got me out of my comfort zone, it's not one of my "go-to colours" so I thought why not go for a 2nd challenge and make a masculine card. It's a balloon theme over at Global Design this week, so I've put the Balloon Celebration Bundle to good use! I choose a rainbow theme for this project, I love the end result - so bright and happy.  I added a little sparkle to the balloons with Iridescent Ice glitter - it's difficult to photograph though!  The sentiment is from Perfect Pairings, one of the free sets available during Sale-A-Bration.  I thought about a rainbow sentiment, but opted to keep it basic black so as not to take the focus from the gorgeous balloons. Balloons and birthdays, what a great combination - today I have made a Shaker Card using the Balloon Bouquet punch. The inspiration for my card is from Global Design Projects Bibi Cameron's Case the Designer theme for #GDP016 I used the following elements: the Shaker Card, Portrait style with centre sentiment & Blues with Whisper White - I changed up Gold to Silver and a little Dazzling Diamonds for extra Bling! I double punched the balloons to make the frame for my 3 mini shaker balloons, I had a mini disaster when I forgot to put the window sheet in my frame; lets just say my craft area has a definite glitter to it now! The sentiment is from the Party Wishes stamp set, and the Balloon celebration (Stamps and punch) Bundle  are launched on January 5th in the 2016 Occasions catalogue. It's getting closer to the end of the year, it's time to celebrate!  I have used the new Balloon Bouquet Punch and Balloon Celebration Stamp set for my project. The Designer Series Paper is called It's My Party Birthday; these brand new products will be available from the 5th of January in Australia.   All these just fit perfectly with the Global Design Theme this week This DSP is fantastic, so vibrant and "happy". As with all Stampin Up DSP it co-ordinates perfectly with a variety of cardstock. I have used Mint Macroon is the base for the first tag, and punched the balloons Melon Mumbo and Crushed Curry.
