Have you heard, the Holiday Mini catalogue launched last week, and we are here with the Stampin' Dreams Blog hop to show you some of what is on offer - you never know you might even dream up some creations in you sleep too! I've gone with a super simple design using one of the returning favorites, and I love it just as much as last year - Feel Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. I used a Rectangle Stitched die for the DSP to give a little detail around the edge, then after stamping the image I used also incorporated the Oval - I get so much use from the  stitched Shapes Dies set. And that's it - yep, super quick, and the DSP does so much of the work for you, you have to love that! I'm so glad this paper has returned in this years Holiday Catalogue. Welcome back to a fresh challenge at  What Will You Stamp? This weeks showcase features the Well Said stamp set - with 51 mix and match sentiments, ranging from single words to phases, you are bound to have the right sentiment for every occasion. If that's not enough sentiments for you, then you can also pair with the Well Written framelits, that's another 24 dies - I was super excited when I saw these in the Occasions Catalogue. For my creation, I've used a combination of stamping and die cuts, and for something out of the square for me I didn't layer or mat my card base, instead I created the "mat" by stamping the Blushing Bride background (ever so lightly) with the Crackle Paint Stamp. By using VersaMark for the background stamping made it quite delicate, and so that I didn't have straight egdes, I tore paper and created a mask around the edge of the card before stamping. Welcome to the February 2019 All Star Tutorial Team blog hop, I hope your are ready for some crafty inspiration from all around the world. I've used the lovely Ribbon of Courage for my design today - the sentiment has hit a cord with me as I've been working through a series of events in the past few months, and made me think.... whilst times can be difficult, we need to remember to Love, Laugh and Love every day, as it can make all the difference. To highlight the sentiment I've surrounded it with love - I love layers, and arrangements of die cuts, I'm really happy with the Melon Mambo/Shaded Spruce colour combination. Rather than use DSP, I've used the Subtle embossing folder for my background, and created a frame using the largest oval Stitched Shape Framelit and a smaller plain oval.
