Miss Pinks Craft Spot

This weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge  straight away reminded me of the gorgeous edge framelit in the Botanical Buidlers set I just had to create a special card one more time with this set before it retires and is gone for ever.  Combined with the matching Botanical Blooms stamp set and you can create a stunning 3D bouquet on your card I used an aqua painter to add veins to the flowers and sponged with a dauber to deepen the middle of the flowers, a small metalic shapes is added to the centre to finish each of the flowers off, and well...., who can resist a little bling! The sentiment is from Oh So Succulent set, its is such a cute font! My colour combination also incorporates Mint Macaron (one of my favourites), sadly this colour will also be departing soon :( I also stamped the inside of the card, I adore these little flowers! Welcome to What will you Stamp, this week we are showcasing Ghoulish Grunge.   This set has some amazing backgrounds, and they can be used for so much more than just Halloween, just look at my project - nothing Ghoulish about it at all! How amazing is that brick background from Ghoulish Grunge , I love the rustic feel. I've also used 3 of the 2015-2017 In Colours for my project, Tip Top Taupe for the background, with  Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder, then added a pop of So Saffron for the yellow using the amazing Botanical Builder Framelits Dies  to create my flowers. I've made a mini card with Botanical Blooms today to incorporate into my Project Life layout. The idea for this came about when I saw the Global Design CASE the designer challenge this week, as t he design reminded me of my wedding, Pink (no surprises there) and Silver were my theme colours for our Garden Wedding.   I embossed the sentiment from Suite Sayings  in Silver, and then die cut and stamped/aqua painted/sponged flowers in Blushing Bride and leaves from the  Botanical Blooms Bundle  to create my arrangement. I swapped Mint Macaron for Wild Wasabi so as to better blend with the photo layout. A touch of Wink of Stella, and I was done. Welcome back, after a lovely day spent in the Mt Lofty botanical gardens last weekend I am feeling in touch with nature with the amazing Botanical Blooms Bundle When I saw the colour challenge at The Paper Players and the theme for the Global Design Project I immediately drew from the inspiration of the autumn colours of the Botanical Gardens   I've used Sponge Daubers to add colour the flowers, I mixed and matched Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie, and oh  my, how amazing is the result - the flowers are so intense and bursting with colour.  The veins on the flowers are added using an Aqua Painter . I also cut some of the leaves from Pumpkin Pie and stamped and sponged with Mossy Meadow to get a lovely autumn hue for the leaves, also adding sponging to the larger leaves cut from Mossy Meadow and used my Bone Folder  to curl the petals and leaves to give added depth and dimension. Why did I wait til now to purchase Botanical Blooms, it is amazing!     Oh my, Melon Mambo with a hint of Pink Pirouette on Whisper White, I am in love!  These flowers remind my of the Lily's I had on my wedding day, that gave me my inspiration for my sentiment from the Suite Sayings  set.   The Botanical Blooms Bundle  is just fabulous, not only do you get several flower and leaf stamps and thinlets in the bundle you also have this great border/edging thinlet - I have so many things I want to try with this set!
