Miss Pinks Craft Spot

Well hello crafty friends, I didn't make it to a zoom crafting session yesterday, but I have made a card using the Colour INKspiration Challenge we were playing along with. This colour pallete is too good to miss, it's so me!!! I decided to use a template from the Plenty of Patterns decorative masks and colour with Blending Brushes. I didn't blend colour right to the edge of the card front, instead leaving the blending lighter on the edges, after removing the mask I lightly blended colour around the edge of the card front to make it "pop" from the card base. The Playful Alphabet dies make for a perfect sentiment for the geometric design, I kept with the rainbow them cutting a letter in each colour and mounting slightly offset on a letter in Basic White. Relax! the weekend is upon us! I thought I'd have some more fun with DSP from Pampered Pets suite. I decided to off set my mats on angles to make things look a little bit more "crazy & out of control".  How cute is the little guy who looks like he has just been startled, not at all unlike my Rimmer (he's a bit skitzy as our Bengal doesn't really like  him) Did you see my cards from earlier this week along the same theme? Some fun with a pun today, I've combined a sentiment from "Nothing's better than" stamp set and an image from the Playful Pets DSP with some help from Playful Alphabet dies. I felt like a change from flowers, and looked at some sets I haven't used for a while, then saw my DSP pile just looking at me saying #loveitchopit. I'm partial to cats, this one reminds me of our Ragdoll, Cinder as he stretches out making himself comfortable - oh to be a cat some days and get comfy and have that perfect lazy day..... pretty much most of his days as he's now older and is always found in a cozy place unless it's time for food! I cut the letters in Flirty Flamingo, Playful Alphabet is just fabulous as it has extra common letters, so I had 2 "R's" so everything was cut in one pass in the die cut machine. It's the weekend, and that means some crafty time, so while enjoying OnStage I squeezed in some time to create with my new box of goodies that arrived yesterday (woot - nice thing to come home to on a Friday). Ever since I saw the Best Plaid Builder Dies I was mesmerised, but they always seemed to not quite make my list... now I am thinking why did I wait, they are amazing! I used this weeks Global Design Challenge for my colours, adding Flirty Flamingo as my "free choice". This is actually a "no ink', it is 100% made using dies! Playful Alphabet dies for the sentiment, and Stitched Rectangles for the sentiment panel and to resize my plaid creation, and I couldn't help but add a little touch of bling with some rhinestones too.
