Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop, today we have Cindy Schuster joining us special guest. Cindy is part of the Artisan design team, it is such an honour to have her join us and to CASE (copy and selectively edit) one of her projects, this is the project I chose to CASE: And here is my project: Foxy Friends has to be one of my favourite sets in this years annual catalogue, but for something a little different I've used the Cozy Critters set, this is a hostess stamp set available during the Holiday catalogue and is just so cute. These stamps coordinate with both the Owl and Fox Builder Punch I used the masking technique to stamp the scarf in a different colour to the fox and owl and  I also got creative with my stitched thinlet dies and created the stitched edging after being inspired by Petra Tailor's demonstration of how to create a rectangle. I love the Owl Punch and have been waiting for the perfect reason to use it again - my parents wedding anniversary!   I have seen so many of these owls on Pinterest, I just had to give a happy couple a try. Don't you just love how you can give these cute little owls a personality all of their own by changing up there eyes and outfits using the Owl Builder Punch . I added a scalloped double frill to the little lady, and a Tuxedo collar to the man, and both have a little pink heart beating for each other.   I die cut the top layer of the card to create a window for the Owls. Do you notice something a little different with the banner from the Number of Years  bundle?    I have extended it to fit the sentiment!  I worked out the length of the sentiment, then used the Stamp-a-ma-jig  to stamp each side using the banner stamp, lining up the top and bottom lines of the banner, then stamped the sentiment within. Gift cards can be a great present for someone that can be difficult to buy for - I've come up with what I think is a fabulous way to dress the gift card and make a lovely personalised gift   Rudolf is made from the amazing Owl Punch , the little owl feet have been trimmed off and the nose is cut with the punch too. The antlers are made from the Tree Builder punch. I saw my daughter watching Mr Maker during the week, she just loves "googly eyes", so I opted for them rather than the Owl punch eyes in this instance. I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch to create the Tag, then made a template to make the case to slide it into.  The heat embossed sentiment is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set.    I decided to mount the Gift Card Case onto a card so that we can write a message, but you could just leave gift just using the Case. Hello everyone, where has the week gone? W elcome to this weeks Global Design Project, here is where inspiration took me:   At first I was stumped at what I could create for: I don't have any farm themed stamps, so I started thinking punch art.... I scrolled through the Design Teams creations, saw Jessica's Barn and yes I had the full idea in my head..... now the problem of how to make a punch art chicken!   I found some amazing inspiration on Pinterest for punch art animals, after many attempts and variations I was finally happy with my chicken!  Her base is created using the Owl Punch, I used DSP that resembled feathers, and cut the heart to make the tail and beak.  A small flower punch for her neck ruffle and a leaf punch for her the top of her head! The little chicks are made from using the eyes, feet and heart of the Owl punch too! The barn is cut using the Baker's Box thinlit die and used the awesome Hardwood stamp...

I have had the amazing honour of being ask to be a guest designer this week with the team from Merry Monday!  Here is my card: Below is Nina's theme for this weeks challenge: I don't have a moose stamp, so I thought I would give punch art a try, or a variation of punch art as I also used framelits: The moose head, antlers and eyes are made from framelits in the Snow Friends set, I also used an oval die to round the bottom edge of the antlers. The end of the candy cane was used for the white of the eyes and the holly framelit for the tuft of hair. I used the Tree builder punch for the nostrils and tongue, and the small circle from the Owl punch for the eye balls. Sequins attached to Cording trim make up the Christmas lights that my poor Moose is tangled in! The sentiment is from Peaceful Pines. I had lots of ideas for this weeks sketch, but they just wouldn't come together, so now its Sunday, a distinct lack of 'mojo' and I need to complete a card - no pressure, no stress! After looking at the sketch again this afternoon, having my desk filled with possibilities; it finally came to me, here is my card: The weather here has been awful today, so the natural light was a bit evasive for my photo; but I love the end result of my card. Pool Party and Blushing Bride combined beautifully with Sweet Sorbet DSP, Owl Punch as always is so easy to use, Petite Pairs for the sentiment and inspiration from Celebrate Today - I cut down the size of the 2nd balloon, bit fiddly but worked a treat! My Daughter has a birthday party tomorrow for lovely twin girls; I thought what a perfect opportunity to try out my new Owl Builder Punch . I wanted to do the cards similar, but slightly different, so I did the same design with 2 colour themes. My daughter wanted "googly" eyes, she has already been playing with them.  I put some glitter on the body of the Owls to make it "pop" from the background. The punch was incredibly easy to use, cut the cardstock with ease, I hate to waste any paper/card, I was able to use up some of my scraps for the different colours.   Thanks for visiting, come again soon
