Thanks Jar of Love

Hello there, and welcome to the last Go For Greece Blog Hop. Whilst I didn't qualify for the Greece trip, I've learnt a number of things through the year, and that made my try some different things.  I also challenged myself to blogging every day for a month something I had never done before, and I'm pleased to say I DID IT - I did have doubts that I would, so that in itself is something that I learnt - have faith in myself that I can do what I set out to achieve..... so Maui here I come! Through out the year Kylie organised regular speakers, and I want to say "Thank You" to all of them - I'm at my 9-5 job when they are doing their live talk, but the replays are fabulous, so here's a project to say thanks to everyone that has participated in the group. I've used the Jar of Love Stamp set with Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake are a gorgeous combination, and spritzed with some Champagne Mist is jus...

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Rachel Tessman

Hello and welcome to the today's blog hop with special guest Rachel Tessman, a hugely successful demonstrator from the US, she has been stampin' for 18 years, WOW! As a Crazy Crafter, our task is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) one of Rachel's creations, not an easy task with so many wonderful creations on show at "stamp you art out" , after much deliberation I decided on the below card I liked the effect of the die cut element in conjunction with the use of DSP - you know, the pretty paper we all have, but so many of us don't cut into, bahhahaha! Here is my CASE using those 2 elements: I created a window frame by taping 2 square die cuts together, and cut 3 layers, then cut into a sheet of Delightful Daisy DSP and layered beneath the frame. Now for the Die cut elements, the Jar of Love double set has a gorgeous coordinating flower, woot - this is what I love about Stampin Up! items coordinate between sets making them so ...

Colour Me with Stampin Dreams

Welcome to the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop, this month we are going to fill you with a world of colour! Our "Colouring Theme" hop will be filled with lots of colouring mediums -  Watercolour Pencils, Water colouring, Blends or Stampin' Write Markers to name a few. I've always loved drawing, and dappled in Oil painting when I was in High School, but something that has always challenged me is Water colouring - but I have decided it's not going to get the better of me, and I have mixed stamping with Watercolour for my project today. I've use the Jar of Love stamp set for this project - it is quite different to previous watercolour cards I have attempted before.  After stamping the jar, I created my foliage by stamping the image multiple times in Tranquil Tide before re-inking, moving it as I stamped to create dark to light images, then I have dabbed water to the stamped image to create the water colour effect.  I left some gaps for the f...

I really like the flowers and foliage, and as you can see you can make a beautiful wreath design.  The set also has many sentiments to choose from, and comes with matching framelit dies which can be purchased with the stamp set as a Bundle  so you save 10% AND if you purchase in this month the bundle will earn you a Bonus Days coupon = WIN WIN!
