Abundant Beauty - masking with Decorative Masks!

Hello there my crafty friends, I have a treat for you today - a technique video! I love, love the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, and for my 2 for 1 creation I have used the masking technique to overlay the flowers - so much fun, it did take a little longer than I thought, but I think you will agree the finished cards are well worth the effort. You can see all the details on how I created the card front's on my video, just click here . My video is part of the Night Angels Global Video Hop - this month demonstrators from around the globe are highlight items from the new Mini Catalogue, lots to see, and lots of ideas to boot. You can view the hop by finding the next demonstrator in the Description section of the video on You Tube. I can't decide which layout I like the best? Do you have a preference? Let me know in the comments :) Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I use

Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks CC&S

Two for two 2 crafty afternoons - what a wonderful weekend! I've been waiting to be in a fussy cutting mood to try out my new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks ...... and I just love them! They are super easy to use - numbered so you know which to use first, you can just create your image as per the masks, but I choose to cut them out so I could put them in a cluster. Colour combination for this design comes from the challenge below, a little different for flowers as I made the centre blue, but I still think the flowers are just gorgeous! Today I'm joining the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If you live in Australia and don't already

Happy Birthday to you with Zany Zoo

Hello crafty friends, I've been up early and got most of my weekend chores out of the way and rewarded myself with some extra time to get creating today - I'm playing along with 2 challenges: I've used one of the super cute critters from the Zany Zoo bundle to capture Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow, and cut a "cloud template" with my fav Basic Border die and blended Misty Moonlight clouds. After blending the clouds I cut 4 Deckled Rectangles , encasing the sentiment; as well as 4 Basic White rectangles. I made a double layer with the rectangle before slotting in place on the card front to give the silhouette feature some pop. No bling for this card as the colours lean towards a masculine themed card - oh wow, look at that, normally my nemesis and I did without thinking, but I'm so happy with this super cute card! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used

All Star Zoo Crew Class Bundle

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new bundle from the All Star Design Team. This month we are showcasing the  Zoo Crew suite  from the Annual Catalogue. The All Star Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I used the Merry Melody 3D Embossing folder for my background, it's the perfect accompaniment for the singing turtle!  A touch of colour with Stampin' blends, and some Black & White Gingham Ribbon, a bow and my card was finished, super quick and cute to boot! Zoo Crew Inspiration Below is a sneak peek of what’s in store with this month’s Bundle. You’ll see my teaser in the bottom left of the image.  There is more inspiration from the Team within this Blog Hop and another twelve designs in the  Bundle this month. There is more Zoo Crew inspiration from the Team within this Blog Hop and as well as the twelve designs in the above Tutorial Bundle this month. Be sure

Color Fusers Blog Hop September 2023

Hello everyone, it's a new month, so that means it's time for the Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations feature Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss and Berry Burst. I decided these colours would be perfect for a Christmas creation, I tend to gravitate towards the on traditional colours for my Christmas designs. I've used the Joy of Noel bundle from the Sept - Dec 2023 Mini catalogue (available from Sept 6th) for the design down the side of the card, stamping in Blackberry Bliss and colour with our other 2 colours. Silver is a prefect accompaniment to these cool colours, so I heat embossed the sentiment is from Christmas Classics, and added a bow, finishing with some Faceted Gems. Be sure to continue on through the rest of the Color Fusers Blog Hop by clicking the button below for lots more inspiration using this month’s colors. Next up is the amazing Bonnie O'Neill!
