Flowing Flowers preview with Share it Sunday

Hello, welcome to Share it Sunday. Today I'm sharing the Flowing Flowers stamp set available Jan 3rd from the upcoming Jan-June Mini Catalogue. The set has a mix of floral stamps and sentiments, I'm naturally drawn to flowers, but I was really interested in the fonts used with the set, so it became a pre-order item for me. I started by stamping the largest and smallest floral stamps with Pale Papaya on the card base to give a tone on tone effect, then after die cutting the focal rectangle, stamped both of the images on Basic White, then added the sentiment (if I did this card again I would probably lift the sentiment up a bit more than I stamped it today. Then I added a touch of bling with some Genial Gems and coordinating Open Weave Ribbon, all in all a pretty quick card to make. Be sure to continue along with the hop to see all the lovely creations, you are currently visiting Sue Vine at MissPinksCraftSpot: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Thank You Gorgeous Posies

Hello and welcome, today I'm joining Bruno & Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with fellow demonstrators who are all working on building our businesses and having fun while we do it. There are some awesomely talented ladies in this group, so sit back and get ready for some amazing inspiration with a variety Stampin' Up! products. I've cracked open a newly delivered stamp set called Gorgeous Posies, at first I overlooked this stamp set in the catalogue, it can be purchased separately or in conjuction with the Gorgeous Posies Project Kit. I'm absolutely adoring this set, the stamp gives you shades of ink with just one application, I'm so happy with my first project. Aren't those posies just gorgeous!! I started by stamping the sentiment, then the upper posy in Petal Pink, then I die cut the sentiment & corner including the posy and put that to one side. Then I used the masking technique to stamp and overlap the Soft Sea Foam leaves and lower flowe...

Nothing's Better Than.... Slimline Cookies!

As the weekend draws to a close who doesn't feel like maybe having a nice snack to cheer themselves up.... so this card is quite appropriate 😏 I've made couple of slimline cards before, but this time I incorporated the Stitched So Sweetly dies for the lovely scalloped border - I cut do, then covered the join with the sentiment - it's a great hack, and gives lots more interest to the elements on the card. This was a super fun card to create and the Nothing's Better Than stamp set was full of choices, I should have done some baking for school recesses today, but I had a "PJ Day" and cooking didn't fit, lol! I also stamped the inside of the card. Being that I'm in Australia, I adapted my slimline dimensions to fit our standard DL envelope: cut an A4 sheet (21 x 29.7cm) of card stock at 20cm, making your card base 21 x 20 cm, score at 10 cm, the front of your card now measures 21 x 10 cm.  the piece of remaining card stock just needs 2mm cut from the bott...

Fancy Phrases Colour Challenge #GDP253

I was lucky to receive my latest order just before the weekend, which means new toys to play with - I was a good girl and did some household chores before I went in my studio,  that isn't always the case!!! I'm joining the colour challenge this week at the Global Design Project , it was a good fit for a floral design, and what do you know my new Floral Phrases Stamp Set yelled "ink me, ink me" Calypso Coral and Bumblebee  with Granny Apple Green, perfect for a floral arrangement is what my eyes saw when I saw the colour challenge earlier this week - challenge blogs are a great source of inspiration. I used a combination if Dies that featured stitching - my well love Rectangles, and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. After colouring the image, I double embossed with the Subtle Folder to created a "cross woven" finish. I used the masking technique to split the sentiment (I can't come to cut my stamps), and added Gold Glitter Dots for a touch of finishing ...
