This week at What Will You Stamp we are showing the versatility of Teeny Tiny Sentiments (or Wishes depending where you are located in the world) It is always handy to have an all purpose sentiment stamp set, and Teeny Tiny Sentiments is just that. Sadly, my card is purpose made :( Charlie Jet spent a wonderful 16 years with close friends of mine, last week he left his family, he is greatly missed.  Farewell Charlie, I will miss seeing you when I visit, so will my daughter who loved sitting and patting you while she watched a movie. It's been a cold, wet and miserable week in Adelaide, and the way I have been feeling you could be mistaken for thinking that I have made this card for myself!   I've finally found some energy and was able to go into my "craft zone" this afternoon, when I saw the Global Design Project Get Well Soon Theme I knew what had to be done! Whenever my daughter goes to her doctor she always comes away feeling better with a Lollipop regardless of her real ailment!  That was the source of the idea for my card:   Put a lovely sweetie with a mix bright happy colours and a Get Well sentiment, who wouldn't feel better when they cast their eyes on this card!   I've made the lolly pop with the help of a cake pop stick (and managed not to have to make any cake pops this afternoon) , and mixed Melon Mambo with two of the new In Colours  The new Swirly bird stamp set is so versatile - it is fast becoming a "go-to" set for me. Today I'm mixing a bit of the old and with a bit of the new, so you get to have a sneak peak at Swirly Bird - one of the new sets available in the 2016 -2017 Annual Catalogue. I've used one of the designs from the It's my Party DSP pack for the background (yay, I cut into another sheet), and then Swirly Bird has been for the stamped images and die cut is from the Swirly Scribbles thinlets - these items will also be available as a bundle.  I think you will see a lot of this set as it has endless possibilities for a variety of themes and designs. I've been experimenting with a shabby chic style today, using Hardwood background stamp trying to get a weathered effect, I'm quite happy with the effect some sponging and Gorgeous Grunge has had on this project today   The idea to try a weathered, shabby chic effect came about when I was contemplating how I could use the lovely colours in Pals Paper Arts challenge this week - inspiration comes from the oddest of memories,.... I had a flash back of a weather wooden seat.
