Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2023

Hello eveyone, it's the beginning of a new month, so that means it's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Coastal Cabana, Polished Pink and Gorgeous Grape  - some mixed feelings with these colours as Polished Pink is retiring at the end of the month, it has been a favourite colour for me over the past 2 years. I decided to create a pastel design for the bright colours from our palette this month - that is the beauty of bright colours you can tone them down to obtain a different variant of the colours. I used Blending Brushes to apply the ink to Shimmery White Cardstock - sadly this cardstock retiring at the end of the month. Continuing with a farewell them I chose the Cottage Rose stamp set, using the largest image along the edge of the card, rotating as I stamped each flower to remove symmetry of the images. Abigail Rose Suite with the All Star Tutorial Team

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new All Star Tutorial. This month we are showcasing the  Abigail Rose suite  from the July-Dec 2022 Mini Catalogue. The All Star Tutorial Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I've used the Cottage Rose bundle for the flowers on my card today, with Abigail Rose DSP for the background. I used blending brushes to apply Petal Pink and Old Olive to the stamped images before die cutting them. I added some Highlights with Stampin Blends in the middle of the flowers and edges of the leaves. I used the edge die from Penned Flowers dies for the scalloped edge, and Lovely Labels Pick a Punch for the sentiment, finishing with some Linen Thread and Champagne Rhinestones .
