I'm so excited to be part of the first Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing "Celebration" themed projects, I'm sure you will be inspired by what we have to show you. My project was made as a special request, it took quite some time, but the end product is so worth it! The theme requested for this Birthday box was "Bling" and Turquoise - I had lots of fun with glittler!  I used lots of products completing this Birthday Box, I got quite carried away!  The Birthday Blast Stamp set and Star Blast thinlets worked a treat, and Birthday Bright had the perfect Celebrate sentiment. The Number of Years set is fabulous to personalise birthdays and anniversaries too. I couldn't believe how mammoth this was to create, but when you think about it, the inside of the box alone is 8 card fronts! I adore how the shading came out on the Balloons. Hello, welcome to the Stampin Friends blog Hop! This month we our theme is all about Celebrating Birthdays. I wish I had learnt how to chop into my Designer Series Paper sooner! It is such a great way to pull a card together when you have limited time, and instead of hoarding all those lovely DSP patterns you share with your creations. Here is a card I came up with this morning: The layout of this card is inspired by this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch! challenge : I love the rustic feel of the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP, these banners combined with the die cut sentiment from Hello You look superb, and with a little masking of a stamp from Balloon Adventures I had my card done in no time. Party time for my daughter today as she went to a birthday celbration with a Superhero theme, the birthday boy really likes the Marvel characters, Ironman was featured on his invitations and cake, and mmmmm, that cake was good! My daughter CASEd the Catty and I also applied the elements in this weeks FMS challenge , It was the perfect opportunity to use Everyday Hero to create a card for my daughters special friend, here is my creation: I took creative licence with the banners, and moved them to one side, in the theme of a flowing super hero cape I curled the banners, you can see here: The sentiment from Balloon Adventures sums up perfectly what  these 2 friends will do in the next 12 mths... I love a shaker card, and I had the perfect reason to create this one! Happy 18th Cooper! The Balloon Pop-Up die can be used as it's name suggests - for a pop up in the middle of a card, but also makes a great panel that can be used for a shaker card; I "modified" the die cut removing the balloons so that I could add 18 to my card - Number of Years is such a great set to have on hand to be able to make a card for a specific occasion. As you can see it is the perfect panel to create a shaker card! I fussy cut the "Party On!" banner and mounted using dimensionals. I also stamped the inside of the card Both the Balloon Pop-Up thinlets and Balloon Adventures stamp set are part of the Party Animal product suite - it is such a fun and colourful suite! I found myself with some spare time this afternoon and pulled together a quick card for this weeks Global Design  Sketch Challenge I looked through my supplies, and when I saw the candles on the Party Animal DSP I knew what I would create. I love the bright colours of the Party Animal Suite, I can't believe I haven't used the Party Animal DSP before! #loveitchopit I cut a strip of the DSP to highlight the candles and stuck to my Whisper White card base. I cut the Emerald Envy cardstock creating a gap to highlight the candles, then white embossed the sentiment from the Balloon Adventures set, and added some enamel dots.  I mounted the card front using foam strips - love this simple card layout, so quick and easy!
