Clear Block Bonanza Buddies

I decided to play along with the Global Design Team's colour challenge this week, the colour selection instantly brought out Bonanza Buddies to my desk. I used a clear block to create the watercolour background, applying colour with a Stampin' Write Marker, then spraying with water before pressing on watercolour paper (which I also pre-sprayed with water). I used the Stamparatus to stamp the silhouettes of the Bonanza Buddies - I stamped several times to get a nice black image on the Watercolour paper. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If you live in Australia and don't already have a Demonstrator I'd love love to be yours.  ...

It's a Birthday Bash with the Stampin Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to the first Blog Hop for the year for Stampin Friends, this month we have a Birthday Bash for you. I decided to showcase the Bonazna Buddies Bundle (page 34 of the Mini Catalogue), it's a super cute set, I won't lie, I was drawn in as soon as I saw the Koala, they are so adorable in real life. I've used the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper for the background of my card, and then stamped and die cut a toucan for my mini shaker gift holder. The Stitched Rectangle Dies coordinate beautifully with the Bonanza Dies, I also added the stitched highlights into the card front and around the embossed sentiment. After cutting the tag I used the Rectangle Dies and created the shaker window and the background. The flip side of the tag has been folded so that you can insert a folded note as a gift. Be sure to work you way through all the Stampin Friends in the list below, there are so many amazing creations you w...

All Star Tutorial Blog Hop

Not only is today the monthly All Star Blog Hop, but it is also the launch day of Sale-A-Bration and the Mini Catalogue, wow what a busy day! Do you ever get caught up in the detail, and before you know it hours have past and all you really wanted was a quick card? That is me all to often, but today card came together quickly and it's perfect for a masculine birthday event too! Who would have thought with just a strip of Birthday Bonanza Designer Series paper, a sentiment from Bonanza Buddies (from the new Mini Catalogue) you could have a gorgeously masculine card in a jiffy! I raised card front layer using some corrugated embossed cardstock for a little mow impact, the DSP is adhered directly to the card base, here's the side view Lastly add some sequins to celebrate the happy day = card is complete! Yes, it's a simple design, but less can be more on some days, hahaha (I don't have many of those days when it comes to card making). ...

It's Time to Celebrate!

It's that time of year again, how quick did December go by, and we are almost at January in no time at all! It's a time to look back and to look forward, with that in mind our Stampers Showcase has a CELEBRATE theme. For me one of the most important things is to celebrate our own achievements - all to often we don't do this and instead focus on other things, but it's important to take time to celebrate our own wins, no matter how big or small they are. For my card today I've used a new stamp set available on January 3rd from the Mini Catalogue called Bonanza Buddies - the set has lots to offer, today only used a balloons and stars, but it's ever so effective. I used first, second and third generation stamping for the balloons and stars, then added some Shimmer Paint and lastly sequins for that touch of bling. This Stamp set has some super cute images with coordinating framelits, including a Toucan, Lion and a Koala - you can...
