Star of Light | #WWYS92

Christmas is fast approaching, and this week What Will You Stamp is show casing the Star of Light set, I'm sure you will gain some inspiration for your Christmas projects  My project this week is  a shadow box I stamped the background with VersaMark and applied clear embossing powder, then sponged the background. The detail on the centre star is just amazing, so intricate and fine.  I love the dimension that you can create with a Shadow Box, here is another view to show the layers in my project: Star of Light  can also be purchased as a Star of Light  with the Starlight Thinlets - the thinlets also have amazing detail, I've mounted my die cuts to strips of cardstock within the shadow box both in the top and bottom of the frame. Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Cindy Schuster

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop, today we have Cindy Schuster joining us special guest. Cindy is part of the Artisan design team, it is such an honour to have her join us and to CASE (copy and selectively edit) one of her projects, this is the project I chose to CASE: And here is my project: Foxy Friends has to be one of my favourite sets in this years annual catalogue, but for something a little different I've used the Cozy Critters set, this is a hostess stamp set available during the Holiday catalogue and is just so cute. These stamps coordinate with both the Owl and Fox Builder Punch I used the masking technique to stamp the scarf in a different colour to the fox and owl and  I also got creative with my stitched thinlet dies and created the stitched edging after being inspired by Petra Tailor's demonstration of how to create a rectangle. I would love it if you could pin my cards! Make sure you hop all the way around our Crazy Crafters hop ...

Flurry of Wishes | FMS263

Sketches are a great source for inspiration, I headed over to Freshly Made Sketches today and as soon as I saw this sketch I knew what stamp set I would use: It might be due to the temperature today (it is a hot 35°C) , or that Christmas is fast approaching - who knows, but the refreshing snowflakes of Flurry of Wishes seemed to call me for this challenge! I used the snowfall stamp from Merriest Wishes  to create my glittery background with Dazzling Diamonds - one of my Christmas essentials :), next I used Night of Navy to stamp the sentiment and on a scrap piece of cardstock the 2 smaller snowflakes from Flurry Of Wishes  then cut with the Snow Flurry Punch , and added the gold twine (inspired from Narelles project) from the Baker's Twine Trio Pack .   Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I create a post! Celebrate with Birthday Blast!

I was lacking inspiration, or was suffering from the agony of choice with my pre-order goodies... regardless I could not put ink on a stamp to create so I started viewing challenge blogs - as soon as I saw CAS(E) this Sketch #198 my problems were solved! How perfectly does this sketch fit with the brand new Birthday Blast stamp set that I was lucky enough to win on Prize Patrol in Brisbane! I faced my fear of Tempting Turquoise and inked up the beautiful swirls and stars - held my breath and stamped, WOW, I simply adore this stamp - so simple yet so effective! I added a the banner to make the sentiment pop, and there you have it, finished project! The Birthday Blast stamp set is available from the 4th January, if you can't wait til then to get your hands on this set - then join up and purchase this and lots of other wonderful new items on the 1st December AND at a discounted price.
