Mini Money Pocket

There are just times when it is really hard to find a gift for someone, and the best option that you have is either a gift card or plain cold hard cash! With just such a dilemma, I came up with this design for a quick way to dress up the gift of cash The Balloon Pop up thinlets have the perfect thinlet to die cut a tag that opens, as well as additional ones to create the bows! I had been so taken by the balloon pop up I had missed how amazing the tag thinlets are! I created a little pocket at the bottom of the tag so that the money can just be slotted in without any fears that it may fall out. I dressed up the project by adding some colourful Party Animal DSP, and also used the Large Number thinlets to personalise for the recipient. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email from me when I do  Click Here . Crazy Crafters Annual Catalogue Sneak Peak!

You would have seen the Stampin Up retiring list, well the reason for that is to make way for brand new amazing products in the new catalogue. Today we have a treat for you, as demonstrators we have been lucky and can pre-order items prior to 1st June, so lets get to it and show you some of these amazing new products!  I've made a set of note cards using the Eastern Palace Suite - and this suite is super special as you too can get your hands on it before 1st June, you will be able to pre-order select bundles from May 1st! This suite has ENDLESS possibilities, both with the stamp set and the amazing framelits alone, and thats not even mentioning the DSP and accessories! I have only scratched the surface with these note cards: I've featured just one of the designs from the fabulous DSP for my notecard set, my first card also uses one of the golden stickers - a great alternative to embossing, and it matches the DSP! For my next card I've l

Colour INKspiration #08

Welcome to the Colour INKspiration blog hop, this fortnight I am taking part in the hop as Guest Designer - what an honour! Here are the colours for this fortnights challenge: Love the little duckies in this scene! I took quite some time to decide on my creation as these colours are not natural to me, but hey! that is the great thing about challenges - you get out of your comfort zone and stretch yourself.  In the end I decided the Touches of Texture set would work a treat with this colour selection I started with the watercolour stamping of the flower with Delightful Dijon, then stamped the detail using Tip Top Taupe and Soft Suede, off setting a little each time I stamped, and finished with a layer of gold embossing. I repeated the same process for the stem and Sentiment (from Rose Wonder). Adding a layer of Delightful Dijon on top of the Early Espresso card base really made the flower pop The final touch was to add some "splatter" by loadi

Fairy Celebration | #WWYS113

Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are showcasing features something that is close to lots of little girls hearts, fairies. Come see what we have created with the the lovely Fairy Celebration stamp set I chose to use my Water colour pencils to colour my little fairy, I'm still getting used to them as I normally go straight for ink and an aqua painter, but I was pleasantly surprised with how well colours I was able to blend and fade the colours with a blender pen. Rich Razzleberry is the prefect accompaniment for Sweet Sugarplum, and compliment my Bermuda Bay Fairy. I love the little "fairy dust" stamp in the set, it adds a great touch to the top of the card. Check out all the great projects from the Design Team click here, we would love you to participate in our weekly challenges at What Will You Stamp? why not play along with this week - We'd love to see what you create! Cupcakes and Carousels | #WWYS112

Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? We are creating with nostalgic Cupcakes & Carousels stamps set. You know the thoughts you get when you first see a stamp set for the first time...... well I had such a thought when I saw Cupcakes & Carousels, then I saw this amazing creation from Claire Napper and it was confirmed! Some time has gone between Brisbane OnStage and now, I had all but forgotten that I was going to make a version a carousel, then when we were out the other weekend at the beach, this jolted my memory - the first item that my daughter wanted to play on at the Beachouse.... the Carousel! I regathered my thoughts and in conjunction with the Window box framelits created a Carousel Gift Box: I adore how my gift box turned out, the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP is just amazing, it has a lovely rustic/vintage feel about it, and coordinates beautifully with this stamp set - one of the things I love about Stampin Up! -
