Sneak Peek of the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit

Hi there, here's another sneak peek featuring the Sweet Soirée Suite.  I love the simplicity of this card, White on White with Silver, simple but stunning! I've used elements from the Sweet Soirée  embellishment kit to create this card - my mouth fell open with I opened this kit up, and all I kept saying was "oh my, wow" over and over again! Here's what comes in the amazing kit: Each of the pre cut images is edged with Silver Foil, making them just irresistible, and on the vellum.... stunning! The striped Washi... so beautiful, a perfect width making for adding a delicate strip of shimmer to the  Silver Embossed sentiment from the Cake Soirée Stamp Set. I added a silver metallic foil doily behind the flowers, and wow, the silver foil highlights just popped, I cut both these items in half and placed behind the sentiment layer. The Suite Soiree Suite debuts in the Occasions Catalogue on January 3rd 2018, if you would like a copy ...

Ink it! Stamp it! Christmas

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects inspired by our Christmas.  I am in love with the Snowflake Sentiments bundle , today I have a "2d" card with a colour combination of Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Island Indigo. I added some bling with silver glimmer paper for the swirls and snowflake die cuts, and "spritzed" a little Island Indigo and Pool Part to break up the Whisper White background. I used sponge daubers to create the ombre effect, starting with the lightest and working up to the darkest on the snowflakes and sentiment - I adore this effect! I hope you have enjoyed seeing another variation of a snowflake card, like I said... I LOVE this bundle! Thank you so much for joining us today. We hope you'll join us again next month to see projects featuring items from the upcoming Occasions Catalogue (launching January 3rd). I'm Sue Vine and to keep hopping around see the list below to see who is...

Text Ya Later | #WWYS143

Welcome to this weeks with What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are sharing creations using the fun set "Text ya Later" There are so many sentiment and message options with this set, its so versatile, and being photopolymer so easy to place the stamps to create your text bubbles - I decided on a belated birthday message. I fussy cut the text bubbles and coloured them with my new Stampin' Blends - I LOVE these! Then I popped the bubbles up on Mini Dimensionals and added a Bakers Twine bow to dress it up a little ( I do love to embellish even if it isn't bling, lol).  I carried the birthday theme into the background by using the gorgeous Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper #loveitchopit Check out all the great projects from the Design Team here , we would love you to participate in our weekly challenges at What Will You Stamp? why not play along with this week - We'd love to see what you create!  Thanks for visiting...

OnStage swaps | You are Amazing!

Hello! Who doesn't smile when they see a rainbow? I know I do, they always seem to take me back to my childhood, even if just for a second - then I saw this weeks Just Add Ink challenge and it was perfect for a R ainbow! I made my cards for my OnStage swaps, and with the crazy lead up and following week I hadn't got a chance to show you all - so combined with this challenge it ticks both boxes! I chose the Feathery Friends Hostess set not only because the bird is so cheerful but because I believe the sentiment sums up fellow crafters; and as we tend to be our own worst critics I thought I was very appropriate for swaps, you are ALL amazing! I used the diamond Pattern Party Decorative mask as a stencil to create my R ainbow background. You can use a sponge brayer, dauber or even a soft brush to apply your inks, I used a colour combination of Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Lemon Lime Twist and Daffodil Delight, slightly overlapping and blend...
