Share What You Love Simple Z-Fold card

Welcome to this month's Stampers Showcase Blog hop featuring FUN & FANCY FOLD themed projects, this is going to be such a fun hop!  I do love a fun fold, it's a great way to add a WOW factor to your cards, I've created a simple Z-Fold card, and it shows of the gorgeous (retiring) Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. My card is a metric take of the 6" x 6" card, I adjusted the measurements to fit a standard A4 cardstock by starting halving the width of the full sheet and going from there. Once I had the base elements, I layered each panel with a piece of DSP, here's a view of the fold from above. The Specialty DSP brought the card to life with a little shimmer here and there. For the focal point of the card front I used the Love What You Do stamp set (carrying over, yay), embossing the sentiment with clear embossing powder to give it a little shine. The new Stitched Nested Labels were perfect for a contrasting sh

Share What You Love for a Friend

I'm taking control of my DSP situation, creating a quick and easy card with 2 scrap pieces of Share What You Love Specialty paper. I made a card using the reverse side of this gorgeous DSP a few weeks ago, you might recall it: I popped up the inner rectangle with dimensionals and all that was left to do today was a sentiment, how easy was that! Super easy with the Well Written Framelit dies! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my super quick DSP project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. If you live in Australia and don't already have a demonstrator I'd love love to be yours.  Stamp sets & Framelits: Well Written Framelits Dies , Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies Cardstock :  Whisper White, Basic Black,  Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper   When shopping  remember to use the current Hostess code  displayed at the top of my blog at the check out and you will b

Got lots of DSP? Create a Mini Album

I had the perfect excuse to try a project that's been on my list for sometime, you see, I watched a Facebook Live from fellow demonstrator about using DSP before it retires, that made me really think about my DSP "situation" Oh dear, Houston we have a problem ran through my head, I've had a desire to create an album for ages, but just not got around to it (watched lots of videos of how to though...hahaha), so I did it, I started small with a mini album, here's what I came up with using the Best Route Designer Series Paper. I used the design of a zig-zag album and converted measurements to metric, the inside pages were simple enough, but it was a little trial an error when I made the album front, but on the 2nd attempt it worked, yay I was on my way to cutting into DSP!  I used as many of the patterns as I could, and the great thing about Stampin' Up! DSP is the coordination is done for your already. The idea is at add your photo where t

Ink it! Stamp it! New Catalogue preview!

Welcome to this months Ink it! Stamp it! 2019-2020 Catalogue preview, so exiting to see creations with new products. As Demonstrators we are lucky to be able to pre-order some of the items before a catalogue's launch date, and today we are sharing creations with these products. I had my daughter assist me with my pre-order.... the agony of choice had me soooo confused - she was my voice of reason, and her stamp set of choice was Free as a Bird. She is a gentle soul and loves all animals, her little squeal of excitement followed by "birdie,... awww cute" was the clincher. The stamp set can be purchased as a bundle with the Stitched Nested Label dies - the new style dies available from June 2019. As described they do feel a little thinner, but I had no problem at all cutting exactly the same as with previous dies, I didn't even require a shim (but this could differ as each BigShot can be calibrated slightly differently). The best thing...... they easi
