It's a Winter Wonderland with the Stampers Showcase

Welcome to this month's Stampers Showcase Blog hop, this is a group of amazing stampers from all over the world has a Winter Wonderland of Christmas themed projects,  be sure to hop through the full line up below so that you can see all wonderful creations!  I’ve used the So Many Stars stamp set bundle and the gorgeous Golden Glitz Delicata ink for my project. I cut 2 of the "star swirls" and trimmed so they fitted together nicely, then cut the card front layers - 2.5 cm (1 inch) for the sentiment, and 5.5 cm (2 1/4 inches) for above the star layer.   Stamp the sentiment, and smear the ink pad on the card base, then adhere the stars to the star die cuts and then raise above the card base - I use a layer of corrugated card stock to do this. There you have it, a Golden Glitz Seasons Greetings :) Next on the hop is Liz Yuille from the UK  click on the icon below to be taken to her blog, Old Stables Crafts and see her fab...

Pretty in Pink this Snowman Season

I am so glad my working week is finally over, and what better way to celebrate than join a blog hop with the Ink It, Stamp It! team. Some days I just need to create with pink, and after the week I've had, this was one of those days! My stamping is simple, with just a hint of Petal Pink, layering on vellum using the Frosted Frames dies, then to bring things to life I added an array of snowflakes uses dies from the Christmas Layers set & spritzed the background with Frost White Shimmer Paint. The fun lines of the snowman images in this set are also carried through into the senitments, I decided to feature one of them inside my card, also adding the cute snowflakes in the set too! Be sure to visit all the team in the list below and see their wonderful Christmas themed projects, you are currently visiting Sue Vine - Miss Pinks Craft Spot, to keep hopping around see the list below to see who is up next. Thanks for visiting today, I h...

What happens in Santa's Workshop stays in the workshop #elfie

That mischievous little elf is back, and he's been having a ball, just as I did creating this card for the Stamping Friends Christmas themed Blog hop. I find colouring to be quite relaxing, so I really enjoyed creating this card. I also used one of my favouite techques.... masking, to "layer" the additional small presents. Then all that was left was to grab my Stampin' Blends and colour to my hearts content. I created the textured layer using the Subtle embossing folder, I must say, I do love how this little bit of texture can add so much to a card, and it's so simple! The #ELFIE set has several sentiments, I also stamped the inside of the card, carrying the Stitched Rectangle theme to the inside of the card too. I also made a complimenting  Gift Box with the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies, and added a tag by fussy cutting another of the Elfie images, this little guy is so stinking cute!  hope the projects you've see...
