Pampered Pets Background stamping

I did some late night crafting one night last week and it's taken me a few days to take a picture. The inspiration for this creation is from the  @stampinthroughthecatalog facebook challenge #sttcchallenge   I was inspired by the use of vellum, it's something I like when I see, but usually don't when I put it on my cards, but not this time = so happy with the the result! My tri-colour border collie always looked amazing with her red lead on, she was always happy going for a walk (that had to start with a run), I still miss her, so the background is  from a memory of dear Cleo. I used both hearts and butterflys to fill the background before using the BeMine Stitched border die for the scalloped edge, then to cut the vellum heart, and see those tiny hearts... they are from the paw die in the Pampered Pets Bundle, which also meant no fussy cutting for the main image. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for...

Hello with flowers and a helper

Hello, I got stuck into some colour therapy today with watercolor pencils and the Prized Peony Bundle, and as you can see from below I had a helper too! I used Gorgeous Grape & Balmy Blue pencils, using a Color Blender to "melt and blend" and it would seem I went a bit overboard with be Balmy Blue for the purple tone I was intending. I splattered a Iittle Crushed Curry and Black onto the card base before arranging the flowers with Dimensionals, then added a touch of bling with the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots - aren't they just gorgeous! The sentiment is from the To a Wild Rose set. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Wow, how cool is this!

You may have noticed I haven't posted for a week or so, I've been really busy at my 9-5 job, and it was school holidays too. Today I got back into the craft studio and opened up my Pattern Play Bundle, and wow - I was so excited when I removed the first of the dies, I just had to share! HOW COOL IS THIS!!!!! When I first saw all the dies, I did my normal thing and take a copy/photo of the lay out so I can get them back in place (and also to be sure I dont "miss place" any), then to my amazement after I removed a die I saw an outline.... wait what my brain thought, I took off another and BAM! WOW! Batman another outline, YAY! no excuses for not putting a die back in place after use, I just had to share. Peony Garden All Star Blog Hop

Happy Friday and welcome to the new look All Star Tutorial Team. Today we have more projects featuring the gorgeous Peony Garden Suite. After a few crazy busy weeks at my not so 9 to 5 day job, some colour therapy was needed; I find colouring relaxes me and helps me unwind, how about you? I used light & dark Highland Heather & Old Olive Stampin' Blends, then added Light Pool Party around the edge of the images - all the time using the Color Lifter to help blend the colours to my liking. To finish I added a strip of Basic Black cardstock and some black ink splatters.  Continue through the list below to see more creations from the design team: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
