What's your Sweet Ice Cream flavour?

It's the age old question.... chocolate, strawberry or vanilla? Which are you? These days I mostly make my own ice cream because some preservatives upset me, though time consuming I have the most amazing vanilla recipe, and then I can add fresh strawberries to the bowl and a little grated chocolate  if I want to really indulge. I stamped the ice cream image using VersaMark onto Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride and Early Esspresso,  added clear embossing powder then randomly brushed some off with a small paint brush before heat setting to give the glistening "ice cream look". I used the Painted Texture embossing folder for the background as reminds me of what a freshly opened carton of ice cream looks like before it is attached with a scoop. To finish I added a touch of bling with a Linen Thread Bow and some Elegant Faceted Gems. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I u...

ESAD Farewell Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the ESAD Blog Hop farewelling the 2020-2021 catalogue. We all have sets that we are sad to see go, so this is our opportunity to give them a Last Hurrah. The 2019-2021 InColors will soon be replaced, I've used Purple Posy and Rococo Rose for my creations, with sentiments from Gorgeous Posies stamp set - I adore this set, both the images and the fonts are so beautiful, and can be easily mixed and matched with other sets and DSP. I usually find it difficult to cut into my Designer Series Paper, but not the case with the True Love DSP. This paper is so versatile, not only dues it have gorgeous floral designs, but the back or "side B" has beautiful geometric patterns. After cutting the floral images, I added a mix of stripes and dots for my Get Will card.  For the second card I used the same stripes turned the other way.  I want to use every last piece of this paper, nothing should go to waste! I hope you've enjoyed viewing my creations, be sure to co...

Retiring 2019-2021 In Colors Blog Hop

We said hello, now we say goodbye to the 2019-2021 InColors:  Rococo Rose, Purple Posy, Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile & Seaside Spray, what was your favourite? I was super excited to see Purple Posy, but then with the issues with the ink, I would have to say my new favourite became Seaside Spray. Don't get me wrong, I still love the Purple Posy Cardstock, it's such a lovely subtle shade and coordinates beautifully with Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape. And as far as pinks go, Rococo Rose was a great variation in the "pink palette", with a bit of an antique feel about it. Next would come Pretty Peacock, a tad bold and dark for me, but still a lovely tone - when I did ink up with it I was always happy, just not a "go to" for me. Lastly, Terracotta Tile - I'm just not an "orange" kinda girl. I would see gorgeous creations using it, but my creativity just never opened up to love this colour as a "go to" Now it's time for yo...
