Simple Stamping with Christmas Scottie

Hello crafty friends, I'm busy preparing Christmas cards for my hubbys Dog Wash business, and what better way to use a #simplestamping design. I've used the punch from the Christmas Scottie bundle for my dog with an  Elegant Twine bow overlaid on a Wonderful Snowflake , and that's it, so simple yet super cute and pretty. I combined Basic White with Smoky Slate, and then Pool Party and Blushing Bride for the Basic White dog, all of which work well with the iridescent foil snowflake. My only stamping is for the sentiment inside the card, I'm kinda partial to "May your days be furry and bright" from the Christmas Scottie stamp set for this design and since the cute little dog would have just been washed and groomed! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your s...

Magical Time of Year with Snowman Magic

Hello crafty friends, I've got another Christmas themed card for you today, this time using the Snowman Magic Bundle , I must say, I'm super happy with the finished card! I'm probably more a fan of non-traditional themed cards, which is why I just adore these purple and blue tones with snowflakes. I started by centring the snowflake die on my card front, then cut a piece of cardstock slightly smaller to blend Gorgeous Grape, Orchid Oasis and Starry, before stamping and silver heat embossing the sentiment. For some added impact I flicked some water over the base, then added Wink of Stella to the water marks. I was going to mount onto a Basic White card base, but decided last minute to go with Highland Heather - It really brought out the colours in the background, all that was left to do was add some Rhinestone Jewels and my project was complete! For more "Snowman Magic" inspiration continue through this list below: Blog Hop Index Thanks for visiting today, I ho...

Slimline Whimsical Woodland

Hi crafters, it's wet and stormy day in Adelaide today, so perfect to get into the craft studio and create! I decided on a on a simple design where the Whimsical Woodlands 3D embossing folder would do most of the work for the card. I centred the embossing folder as the slimline panel is longer than the folder, then I added raised sections to the ends - stamping the sentiment from the Framed & Festive stamp set prior to adhering. You can see how the detail from the embossing folder steps up and is the hero of the card - so simple and quick to create. I used Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party for my colour theme, adding InColor Twine and Red Rhinestones to finish. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and Yo...

Sun Prints Suite with the All Star Tutorial Team

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new All Star Tutorial. This month we are showcasing the  Sun Prints suite  from the 2022 - 2023 Annual Catalogue. The All Star Tutorial Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I've used the Nature's Prints bundle for my card today, using a similar colour palette to my tutorial, but this time, I've stamped an image to the rainbow wreath. Knowing I was going to use a Stylish Shapes circle for the sentiment, I decided the Dots & Spots Die would make for a cute background, and I'm so happy with the finished card. The wreath is held in place Mini Dimensionals, giving some height to the card, I finished by adding some Iridescent Basic Jewels and In Color Twine . Sun Prints Inspiration Below is a sneak peek of what’s in store with this month’s Tutorial Bundle. You’ll see my teaser in the bottom left of the image.  There is mo...

Color Fusers Blog Hop November 2022

Hello crafty friends, it's time this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Pumpkin Pie,  Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce - I will admit yellows and oranges would be the least used colours in my ink collection, so using Pumpkin Pie is a real challenge for me! Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce were calling Christmas, so all that was left was to introduce Pumpkin Pie - I decided on a water colour background on Shimmery White card stock. Once the background was dry I added some splatters with Stampin' Write Markers. Then I carefully inked up just 1 of the star images from the Snowman Magic stamp set and added random stars to the background, and a sentiment. Offsetting the matte layers and crumpling the corners tied into the watercolour and random splattering effect, then I die cut several trees from the Snowman Magic bundle, layering so I had a singe layer, 2 layers and 3 layers for the trees to overlay on the water colour background to give a little...
