Hand-Penned Memories & More

Have you every tried Memory Keeping or Scrapbooking? It is something that I always intend to do, but dont' get there as often as I would like, but it is so worth it. Today I pulled together a Scrapbook page layout, all that's left to do is add the photo and some journaling. For my base I've used a design for the new Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper, isn't it gorgeous!!! Next I choose a card from the Memories & More Card Pack - I decided to highlight Pale Papaya.  From here, I added layers & shapes coordinating colours, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Mint Macaron & Pool Party. I used a variety of die cuts, Scalloped Contours, Basic Borders (both new in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue), Stitched Rectangles and some scraps. Now I'm off to find a photo, while I'm doing that be sure to continue through the blog hop for more Memory Keeping ideas, you are currently visiting Sue Vine - MissPinksCraftSpot: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing m...

Lovely You | Birds & Branches

This card has been over a day in the making, I've had to listen to my body which happened to be saying "I need rest, no crafting", oh how I can't wait to be back to my normal self.  All that aside, I am really happy with my finished card, I'm surprised I didn't loose my mojo with all the "tools down" recesses. I started by using blending brushes with Pear Pizzazz to create a rough circle in the bottom of the card, then die cut to create my window layer.  I added a little Balmy Blue to the upper edge of the green, then a hint of Crumb Cake in the bottom left corner, then stamped the sentiment from Lovely You . I was undecided with the look, so added some splats by randomly flicking my Crumb Cake and Balmy Blue Stampin' Markers. My bird is stamped with Crumb Cake and..... ugh Flirty Flamingo! (it was supposed to be Blushing Bride), then just a smudge of Balmy Blue to the wing and head - lucky for me I stamped off once before stamping with Flirty Fl...

Thanks with Hand-Penned

Hello crafty friends, todays card is for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop, our  Blog Hop Theme: Thank you This month I will be treating my customers with a thank you card featuring new items from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, namely the Hand-Penned Suite and Scalloped Contour Dies.  Below is one of the Thank You cards you will receive when shopping with me this month - April 2021. The Hand-Penned suite is delicately gorgeous, soft pastel palette with line drawn images, everything just flows beautifully - the Designer Series paper is just stunning, so nice I cut into it straight away to share with you. I couldn't stop myself using the Scalloped Contour Dies, and the new In Colors.....what can I say, the speak for themselves and were  definitely one of the first items on my pre-order list. How gorgeous is Fresh Freesia with this paper!!! I also like how the font in the stamp set carries though with the lined images of the DSP, such a perfectly blended s...

Get Well Soon with Gorgeous Posies *** Sneak Peek Scalloped Contours ***

Hello and welcome to this Sunday afternoon. I've been creating with the Gorgeous Posies Stamp Set with some colour help from CAS Colours & Sketches . I would have to say that these colours wouldn't normally come to me - yellows and oranges tend to get overlooked in Miss Pink's studio. All that aside, they make a gorgeous combination on this card. The stamp distributes the colour light to dark, so the Merry Merlot wasn't overpowering, likewise with the leaves..... and do you see that scalloped edge? Isn't it beautiful, I couldn't hold off using an item from my Annual Catalogue pre-order any longer!  I think the Scalloped Contour Dies may become a new favourite for me. So it was hello to a new item, and goodbye to my 3D Subtle Embossing folder - double embossed to create a linen look over the stamped images. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used ...
