Detailed Floral Framelits pop up box

I love fun folds and 3D projects, so when I have seen the wonderful variety of projects including candle holders, gift boxes and Jauna Ambida's wedding card in a box made with the Detailed Floral Thinlets Dies I knew I wanted to give them a try, then I had the perfect opportunity - a special request for a 60th Birthday card.


You do need to make sure that you place your dies in the correct position, but it's not too tricky to do, and as you can see the end result is just stunning. The Floral Phrases stamp set has the perfect stamp for adding detail to the bottom of you box too. I fussy cut a flower to place in the middle of my card and the "Happy" die cut is from the Hello You Thinlits Dies and popped up using a strip of window sheet.

  

Number of Years is just fantastic for creating Numbers for any special occasion - this card could be used for a birthday or anniversary.

      Have a look on Pinterest Kim, there are some wonderful ideas for this framelit on there for more than just cards :)

      Thanks Sue I did take look on Pinterest after your suggestion. I found Juan Ambida had made one of these too in August. Juana is always a step ahead with trends, clever designer that one.

Thank you for everything Hues of Happiness

Hello crafty friends, I'm using one of my favourite layouts today with the simply gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP . I decided to make the card using Pool Party cardstock to complement the blue flowers in a bed of purples, I think it turned out lovely. I added detail to the card front by using the Scalloped edge from the Scalloped Contours Dies , and heat embossed a sentiment in silver from the Color & Contour stamp set .  To finish I added a touch of bling with Rhinestone  Basic Jewels . Color Fusers Blog Hop August 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! Today we are creating with Darling Duckling, Basic Grey and Basic White. I had the Impressions Abloom bundle on my desk, and when looking at the colours immediately thought of daisies, next I reached for my Fancy Border dies.  I cut the border in all 3 colours and layered to create an extra layer of interest into my design. I simply adore the tiny flowers in the bundle, a great alternative to add and element instead of my signature rhinestones, but I did add a hint of silver bling with some offcuts of ribbon that were on my desk - waste not, not want and my mother always said to me when she taught me dress making! Welcome to the ESAD Holiday Catalogue Fancy Folds & 3D project Blog Hop. I've created a project using one of my favourite fun folds - a "z-fold", using the Snowflakes Sentiments Bundle The thinlits give the card lots to detail, and did take a bit of time to put together, but hey if I'm honest I overthink the the placement of the swirls and snowflake sentiments like 3 - 4 times before I stick them down, hahaha!, but I must say every minute was worth it, I am really happy with the finished card. Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop!  This month, we are creating with Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Smokey Slate - colours that are not up the front of my palette if I am honest, so this was a challenge for me! I broke out one of my newest bundles - Impressions Abloom, I was fascinated with the dies, so that became my starting point, lots and lots of flowers and foliage were cut. The dies are made so that you can either cut the stamped images or die cut with detail as I have done for my card. I love layering, so I really enjoyed creating the arrangement with all the die cuts, I finished by adding some bling with jeweled rhinestones and a small butterfly (from Beautiful Butterfly dies).
