Halloween isn't a huge celebration in Australia, but my daughter has been asking questions and made mention of celebrations a few times, so I decided that this year I would prepare some treat bags for the occasion - I am so glad I decided to use this set, it is adorably cute, so much so it's hard for me to pick my favourite!
I made the treat bags using the brown paper that our Big Brown Boxes are packed with, woo hoo recycling! I cut them using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies, my daughter planned the stamped image to co-ordinate with the cookie cutter image, then we popped some treats in, folded the top and bound with bakers twine - too cute!
I used white embossing powder for skeleton, and threw in some Pumpkin Pie for the background and treat bag stamping
Tuesday night is mummy-daughter movie night with takeaway dinner, recently we watched Hotel Transylvania, so I had plenty of colour inspiration for Dracula, and the little bat on the bag is adorable
My daughter's favourite scene in the movie is involves a little accident that Murray the Mummy appears to have courtesy of the Invisible Man - she laughs so much, I just had to create a version of Murray for her, and he had to have green background!
I think the scarecrow is so cute, reminds me of the Wizard of Oz, he didn't manage to scare off the crows on the treat bag though!
There you have it, my treat bags using Cookie Cutter Halloween. We'd love to see what you can create this week - to see all the great projects from the Design Team and to participate in this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? click here
