Banners for You | #WWYS122

Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are showcasing Banners for You (page 32 of the Annual Catalogue) Using banners is a great way to make your sentiment pop on your card, and as the Banners for You is photopolymer it is easy to line up your sentiment inside a banner, and set also co-ordinates with the Bunch of Banner framelit dies, so these amazing banners can be easily cut and added to your projects. Here is what I have created this week: There are heaps of sentiments to choose from this set, and each co-ordinates with one of the 4 banners, you can also mix and match depending on your creation. I cut a second banner in Melon Mambo and layered under the stamped banner, and added a twine bow (I can't get enough of these lately) I used the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create my background in Lemon Lime Twist (my daughters favourite colour).  This TIEF gives amazing depth to the embo...

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects inspired by the new 2017-2018 Catalogue - there are so many wonderful new items it is hard to pick just one to show you today.  I love the Delightful Daisy Suite, gorgeous DSP, beautiful stamp set with a coordinating punch - I had double the fun creating this project, it was a bit like a 2 for 1 project! I punched 3 flowers from my DSP and stamped 3 flowers on Whisper White then punched - how awesome is this DSP print! I curled the petals of the flowers ever so slightly the popped up on dimensionals lining up to the negative space from punch cut I've used Wood Words sentiments on the mini banners, and adding a little twine finished them off beautifully.  I cut a number of daisies and layered behind the DSP daisies to give the flowers extra dimension and interest I also layered the banner on the 2nd card for some extra pop added the twine bow - lo...

Seaside Shore | #WWYS121

Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? This week the set we have gone under the sea with Seaside Shore This set is perfect for someone that loves the ocean and tropical fish, I think of Finding Nemo when I look at this set, such a fun movie I created the edge of my card by stamping the bubbles in a continuous pattern, Soft Sky on Soft Sky, the panel with my fish is raised up on dimensionals. I also sponged around my little fishy with Soft Sky, I stamped the image on a post it and cut it out and laid over the top before sponging so I could keep the image clean for colouring I added some Wink of Stella for some shimmer and Bakers Twine - I love Bakers Twine it is so forgiving when creating bows I repeated the side bubbles on the inside of the card and added a sentiment Check out all the great projects from the Design Team click here , we would love you to participate in our weekly challenges at What Will You Stamp? w...

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Jeanette Egemann

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Jeanette Egemann all the way over in Germany! she is an extremely successful demonstrator, in fact she was No. 15 in the world last year; hopping with Jeanette is such an honour. There are lots of wonderful creations on Jeanette's blog, I drew inspiration form this card: What I love about this design is the use of a background stamp combined with the die cut sentiment, and of course the little elements of bling - I just adore bling! Here is what I was inspired to create: There are so many amazing background stamps in the new catalogue, I've used "Sheet Music" for my background.  My husband studied music at school and even played classical guitar in state orchestra, so this stamp was a must have. I layered my sentiment using Early Espresso and Soft Suede die cuts - the Happy Birthday framelit is just gorgeous, and to finish I've added a little bling with using the Metallics ...

Happiest of Days | Birthday Wishes

I'm in love with the quick and simple card, and so happy to finally be playing with some of my purchases from the new catalogue - that big brown box has just been looking at me as saying please play with me!  The "sketchy" designs of the Happiest of Days stamp set took my eye when I first saw this set.  I love how simple this card was to make, just one stamp and a little colour, here it is: I took the liberty of adding a little bling with the Iridescent Sequin Assortment, not only does the pack have a variety of colours, there is also 3 different sizes, 5mm, 4mm & 3mm - the tiny ones are sooooo cute!        I also stamped the inside of the card and coloured the flower with Delightful Daffodil, Calypso Coral and a touch of Fresh Fig using an Aqua Painter. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email from ...

International Highlights - Baby

Welcome to our International Blog Highlight for the month of June, the theme this month is "Baby".  I like to have a couple of these on hand, as you never know when a little person decides to enter the world..... my daughter decided that she was ready 7 weeks before her due date! The Moon Baby stamp set is super cute, I decided to make my own background by heat embossing in Silver for Boys, and Copper for Girls as it always reminds me of rose gold. I cut the sentiment/gender using the Large Letters Framelits , to line up the inside of the letters after I mounted on the coloured cardstock I simply popped the die cuts back in and then the little bits of the "B, O and R" could be glued in to position perfectly. Do you ever have a card that you are not 100% happy with? Well, for me the "GIRL" just didn't seem to pop,.... so I started to play - I decided that maybe if I coloured the die cut letters and place back into the card it wou...
