Embossing Paste Trees for Carols of Christmas

It's official... I am in love with the new Embossing Paste! I love the idea of a white Christmas, so you can image my excitement now I can create snow covered trees!


I'm entering my project into this weeks Challenge at The Paper Players - after all you don't get snow covered trees inside do you!


I'm really enjoying the Carols of Christmas bundle, I just can't get enough of making Christmas Cards - at this rate I am going to be so organised for Christmas this year.  I applied the Embossing paste randomly to the die cut trees, then sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds so that snow touched shine


Here's a side view so you can see the different heights and shapes of the "snow"

    What a fantastic way to use embossing paste! Applying the Dazzling Diamonds really give it some extra wow. And no, you don't get snow-covered trees in the Great Indoors :-) Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players for our Great Outdoors challenge this week.

    Love this card!! Fellow demo here in Canada ;) I'm so excited to try out the paste as snow :) did you use SU embossing powder for the stamp? I have not found ours to be so silver, maybe I need to try agin :) ... Thanks!! thanks for sharing!! you are great inspiration!

Hello there crafters! You are going to love today's Stamper Showcase Blog Hop - we are all featuring FUN FOLDS, I just love a fun fold, I should really do more of them! I decided to a Circle Easel Card, it's a smaller card, but I think you will agree is just super cute, and with the Hues of Happiness DSP is just Gorgeous! Thank you for everything Hues of Happiness

Hello crafty friends, I'm using one of my favourite layouts today with the simply gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP . I decided to make the card using Pool Party cardstock to complement the blue flowers in a bed of purples, I think it turned out lovely. I added detail to the card front by using the Scalloped edge from the Scalloped Contours Dies , and heat embossed a sentiment in silver from the Color & Contour stamp set .  To finish I added a touch of bling with Rhinestone  Basic Jewels . Color Fusers Blog Hop August 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! Today we are creating with Darling Duckling, Basic Grey and Basic White. I had the Impressions Abloom bundle on my desk, and when looking at the colours immediately thought of daisies, next I reached for my Fancy Border dies.  I cut the border in all 3 colours and layered to create an extra layer of interest into my design. I simply adore the tiny flowers in the bundle, a great alternative to add and element instead of my signature rhinestones, but I did add a hint of silver bling with some offcuts of ribbon that were on my desk - waste not, not want and my mother always said to me when she taught me dress making! Welcome to the ESAD Holiday Catalogue Fancy Folds & 3D project Blog Hop. I've created a project using one of my favourite fun folds - a "z-fold", using the Snowflakes Sentiments Bundle The thinlits give the card lots to detail, and did take a bit of time to put together, but hey if I'm honest I overthink the the placement of the swirls and snowflake sentiments like 3 - 4 times before I stick them down, hahaha!, but I must say every minute was worth it, I am really happy with the finished card. Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop!  This month, we are creating with Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Smokey Slate - colours that are not up the front of my palette if I am honest, so this was a challenge for me! I broke out one of my newest bundles - Impressions Abloom, I was fascinated with the dies, so that became my starting point, lots and lots of flowers and foliage were cut. The dies are made so that you can either cut the stamped images or die cut with detail as I have done for my card. I love layering, so I really enjoyed creating the arrangement with all the die cuts, I finished by adding some bling with jeweled rhinestones and a small butterfly (from Beautiful Butterfly dies).
