Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Meg Loven


Hello, and welcome to the last Crazy Crafters Blog hop for 2018, our special guest today is Meg Loven from the United States. Meg has been a demonstrator since 2002, and was ranked #10 in the US for the 2017 Stampin' Up! year, such an honour to be hopping with her today.

 I visited Megs Pinterest board, so many lovely projects to choose from, and eventually decided to CASE the below card  - the shortened front panel with decorative edge caught my attention, I like doing something that is a little different to the norm!

Here's what I created featuring the You're Inspiring stamp set from page 31 of the Occasions catalogue.


The stamped image is stunning, the detail and fine lines is just amazing, I was like "wow" that is gorgeous when I stamped it! I stamped the larger flower image multiple times, using post it notes to mask so I didn't overlap images of the foliage. Them it was to the trusty Stampin' Blends for colouring, I love colouring, and blending colours to create shadows and shades is so much fun - I cant get enough of them!


Rather than adding ribbon to the inner panel of the card, I chose to emboss a pattern with one of the Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (Page 23 of the Occasions Catalogue), I'm really happy with this effect, and it's unlike a normal card.

    Can you share how you made the Daffodil Delight scalloped trim along the side? It adds that pretty pop of color against the green and I’m curious how you did that.

    I am curious too about the trim along the side. Looked at all the SU dies and could not find one that did this. Is it an old die cut?

      I used the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch to create the long scalloped edge :)

Hello there crafters! You are going to love today's Stamper Showcase Blog Hop - we are all featuring FUN FOLDS, I just love a fun fold, I should really do more of them! Thank you for everything Hues of Happiness

Hello crafty friends, I'm using one of my favourite layouts today with the simply gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP . I decided to make the card using Pool Party cardstock to complement the blue flowers in a bed of purples, I think it turned out lovely. I added detail to the card front by using the Scalloped edge from the Scalloped Contours Dies , and heat embossed a sentiment in silver from the Color & Contour stamp set .  To finish I added a touch of bling with Rhinestone  Basic Jewels . ESAD Holiday Catalogue Fancy Folds & 3D Projects

Welcome to the ESAD Holiday Catalogue Fancy Folds & 3D project Blog Hop. We're so excited to share our creations with you and we're certain that you will find great tips and inspiration from all our creations. Color Fusers Blog Hop August 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! Today we are creating with Darling Duckling, Basic Grey and Basic White. I had the Impressions Abloom bundle on my desk, and when looking at the colours immediately thought of daisies, next I reached for my Fancy Border dies.  I cut the border in all 3 colours and layered to create an extra layer of interest into my design. I simply adore the tiny flowers in the bundle, a great alternative to add and element instead of my signature rhinestones, but I did add a hint of silver bling with some offcuts of ribbon that were on my desk - waste not, not want and my mother always said to me when she taught me dress making! Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop!  This month, we are creating with Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Smokey Slate - colours that are not up the front of my palette if I am honest, so this was a challenge for me! I broke out one of my newest bundles - Impressions Abloom, I was fascinated with the dies, so that became my starting point, lots and lots of flowers and foliage were cut. The dies are made so that you can either cut the stamped images or die cut with detail as I have done for my card. I love layering, so I really enjoyed creating the arrangement with all the die cuts, I finished by adding some bling with jeweled rhinestones and a small butterfly (from Beautiful Butterfly dies).
