Stamping Friends Blog Hop | No Rules!

Welcome to this month's Stampin Friends blog hop, our theme this month is "No Rules", so anything goes! And we have a great giveaway this month...... a Stamparatus!!!! Make sure you check out below for the details of how you could be a lucky winner!

So in the theme of anything goes, and the fact that my scales seem to be heading the wrong way with my diet, I've incorporated chocolate into the theme and created coordinating Easter themed projects

I couldn't resist this little Easter basket that Lisa Lange posted on Facebook - I just had to give it a try! I dressed up the Crumb cake texture embossed basket with Calypso Coral Sheer 1/8" ribbon and 1/4" Organza ribbon - they layer perfectly. Next was the cute bunny image from "A Good Day" - this stamp set has some gorgeous small images, and I love the coordinating scalloped punches, popped some Ready Shreddie into the basket then added the eggs.

The Narrow Note card is the perfect size to accompany this basket. I used a matching bunny image, and repeated the texture with the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressionsâ„¢ Embossing Folder - I sponged a little crumb cake on the inside of the folder before putting through the Big Shot, which created the darker square in the pattern, I cut a couple of scalloped squares for the border and layered underneath, wrapping the layered ribbon and popping the bunny image on dimensionals.

If you missed the pre-order of the Stamparatus, here's your chance to get your hands on one!

Thank you for everything Hues of Happiness

Hello crafty friends, I'm using one of my favourite layouts today with the simply gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP . I decided to make the card using Pool Party cardstock to complement the blue flowers in a bed of purples, I think it turned out lovely. I added detail to the card front by using the Scalloped edge from the Scalloped Contours Dies , and heat embossed a sentiment in silver from the Color & Contour stamp set .  To finish I added a touch of bling with Rhinestone  Basic Jewels . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. Color Fusers Blog Hop February 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we have pretty pastels Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam with a pop of colour being Costal Cabana.. I went back to one of my Annual Catalogue favourites for this card - Layers of Beauty.  This is a versatile bundle as it includes the Decorative Masks, which make for a simply gorgeous water colour effect. Being the middle of summer and over 40 ° C degrees (104 ° F) most of my flowers are looking a little "crispy", so wanting to see some fresh flowers. I stamped my outline in Soft Sea Foam and added a touch of Coastal Cabana on the end of the flowers for newly blossomed blooms, to my surprise this gave my card a hint of a vintage colouring. After die cutting the arrangement, I cut in half and trimmed a segment of mini blooms so that I could extend the images top to bottom, using dimensions to adhere to the card front. To finish I added a Gold Embossed sentiment and some Gold Twisted Thread. Continue on through t...

Fancy Folds Stampers Showcase - Hues of Happiness Circle Easel Card

Hello there crafters! You are going to love today's Stamper Showcase Blog Hop - we are all featuring FUN FOLDS, I just love a fun fold, I should really do more of them! I decided to a Circle Easel Card, it's a smaller card, but I think you will agree is just super cute, and with the Hues of Happiness DSP is just Gorgeous! This card is a relatively simple for a fun fold and comes together very quickly - I think I spent more time doing the floral arrangement than the actual fun fold itself. I took advantage of being able to die cut images directly from the Hues of Happiness DSP - I love it when we can do this with DSP, and aren't the flowers just stunning! I took 3 different flowers and some foliage and arranged to fit within the Basic White Circle cut from the largest circle die in Layering Circles Dies set, and the largest scallop die is used for the coloured section of the card. To create the card base you need to fold a piece of card stock and positon the largest die slig...

Endless Birthday Wishes | WWYS#65

It's Monday, so that means there is a fresh What Will You Stamp? challenge.  This week we are showcasing Endless Birthday Wishes.   I adore the font in this set, and the cake is just too cute!  I've used Washi Tape from the It's my Party range on the edge of my raised layers, and stamped the sentiment on the base of the card. I used aqua painters to colour the cake and cut used the new layering square framelits (available in the 2016-2017 Catalogue), how delicate is the scalloped edge? Just gorgeous! Whilst I went with a traditional sentiment for my card; this set has truly endless possibilities in terms of creating you own special message - how amazing is that!  Click below to see all the inspiring creations from the Design Team, we would love you to join in the fun too!  How many different sentiments can you come up with? Thanks for stopping by today, I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email...

Color Fusers Blog Hop November 2024

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring the some old favorites of mine - Berry Burst, Azure Afternoon and Fresh Freesia. My creation was inspired by the fact that we had our Christmas Pageant this weekend, and that I love making Christmas cards in non traditional colours. I started by blending our featured colours in the bottom right of the card front, then I "flicked" with some water and let dry before heat embossing the sentiment from the Decorative Trees bundle. This bundle has a variety of tree dies, I chose the one with snowflakes and adhered over the blended colours, to finish I added some rhinestones for that special sparkle that Christmas brings.
