Serene Garden Smooching

Welcome to today's Crazy Crafters blog hop with special guest Alison Solven from Canada, you may be familiar with her blog Stamp Crazy with Alison, if not you should check it out! Our task today is to CASE (copy and selectively edit one of Alison's creations, I was inspired by this creation:

I love the emboss resist technique, but instead of Brusho's for my colour, I've chosen to do some "smooching" and then used an aqua painter for colouring the detail of the Serene Garden stamp, here is what I was inspired to create:

I've copper embossed the image from Serene Garden and used the gorgeous Mint Macaron for my smooched background, then darkened the foliage with an Aqua Painter using Shaded Spruce, and added Lovely Lipstick for a pop of colour. 

Next I stamped the edge of the card base with the delicate leaves, then embossed the sentiment from A Big Thank You and dressed up with a Basic Brad threaded with Copper Metallic Thread, and added Copper Trim under the sentiment banner.
