I love the emboss resist technique, but instead of Brusho's for my colour, I've chosen to do some "smooching" and then used an aqua painter for colouring the detail of the Serene Garden stamp, here is what I was inspired to create:
I've copper embossed the image from Serene Garden and used the gorgeous Mint Macaron for my smooched background, then darkened the foliage with an Aqua Painter using Shaded Spruce, and added Lovely Lipstick for a pop of colour.
Next I stamped the edge of the card base with the delicate leaves, then embossed the sentiment from A Big Thank You and dressed up with a Basic Brad threaded with Copper Metallic Thread, and added Copper Trim under the sentiment banner.

ReplyDeleteSue, as always your card does not disappoint. Your card is just so elegant. The techniques you do are all so beautiful done and placed. It's a gorgeous colour card and not fully pink, but where you have placed the pink. It is a Wow on the eyes. You are so Talented Sue Vine. I love absolutely everything about this card.
