Delicate Lace Climbing Roses

Hello, welcome to today's creation, I'm sharing a layered floral project for this month’s Stampers Showcase Blog Hop.  The theme for this month’s hop is SPRING AND FLOWERS, my friends in the northern hemisphere are well into Spring whilst I'm starting to say goodbye to the warmth as we have turned our clocks back and the nights are creeping in earlier and colder.  Feminine and floral best describes my creation today, and it's another goodbye - this time to Powder Pink and the Climbing Rose Bundle. There is quite a bit going on with this card, but here is the run down.... started with a Silver Foil Edged card, then add a layer of Powder Pink and Whisper White after cutting with the Delicate Lace detail, then run the Whisper White layer back through the Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing folder (I soooo love this folder, the small touch of texture goes such a long way).  Just above the lace detail wrap some Ruffled Ribbon, and then wrap with Silver ...

Follow your Dreams Stencilling

Have you ever forgotten that you have something in your craft stash..... well I'd totally forgotten about that I had Pattern Party Decorative Masks until I went through all my die cut folders, and found the Masks package! I've used them a few times, mostly with embossing paste, then when I was looking at my retiring stamp sets I saw the Follow Your Dreams Bundle, and the rest is history, here's my creation: I used stencil brushes to apply the ink (only because I have them), but you could just as easily sponge the ink or use really soft think paint brushes for the same effect. Then I laid the stencil down and held in place with some washi tape - it's very important that you stencil or card doesn't move when apply the ink to stencil.  Then I worked the colours in the same order, applying a good coverage of colour before adding a tou...

Vintage Wonderful Romance

After sorting through what product will be retiring I just had to do something that felt more practical.... so of to challenge blogs I went for inspiration, and I found just what I was looking for at Freshly Made Sketches & TGIF Challenges .       And here is what I was inspired to create using the soon to be retiring Wonderful Romance bundle. To create the sepia tones I stamped the images with Soft Suede, then coloured with Light & Dark Crumb Cake, Bronze and Light Rich Razzleberry. I offset a layer of Crumb Cake lattice with a scalloped edge under the Very Vanilla, that really made the card look different. I mounted the stamped images using dimensionals, lastly adding gorgeous oval cut sentiment.  I'm really going to miss the variety in the amazing bundle, so many elements to choose from, use one or use many, its a great set to have on the shelf. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tun...
