One layer is all it took!

Welcome back, I've surprised myself with this completing the Addicted to CAS challenge this week!  I struggle to make a CAS card, I tend to add elements and layers,... and before I know it the card is no longer CAS but I think I just may have done it this time. To create my "one layer wonder" I sponged a mixture of Melon Mambo and Highland Heather, then stamped the outline images from the To a Wild Rose set using Delicata Golden Glitz Ink. Lastly adding the Thank You sentiment from a set I haven't used for some time.. Daisy Delight. I changed my lighting so you can get a better look at this gorgeous ink: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. If you live in Australia and don't already have a demonstrator I'd love love to be yours.  Stamp sets & Framelits: To a Wild Rose , Daisy Delight Ink:   Delicata Golden Glitz, Melon Mambo, Hig...

Babies & Children Stampers Showcase

Welcome to this month's Stampers Showcase Blog hop featuring BABIES & CHILDREN themed projects, this is going to be such a fun hop! At first I was stuck with what to create, then as I planned a baby themed card I glanced at my Holiday Catalogue pre-order... BOOM inspiration struck! The So Many Stars Bundle was one of the first items on my pre-order - stars can be so versatile, and my card today shows that the Stitched Stars dies are so much more than just for Christmas. I cut a variety of Stitched Stars and arranged around the sentiment from Sweetly Swirled,  perfect for when someone does something exceptional or has stretched themselves - acknowledgement of such an effort always makes one feel really good. I used 2 of the stitched stars to cut the colours, then placed them behind the card front and popped up on dimensionals, lastly mounting the card front on a Thick Whisper White card base, and there you have it, a fun Children's birthday card! ...

Say it with Stars... Happy Birthday

I've had a crafty orientated day today in between weekend household chores, after delivering catalogues, and in between multiple loads of washing & cooking I played with part of my So Many Stars bundle..... being the Stitched Stars dies (23 in the set, spoiilt for choice, woot!) These dies were perfect for the Global Design Project theme this week: I started by stamping my birthday sentiment, then placed 3 of the star dies (the 3 smaller detailed stars) in position and ran through the Big Shot, then re-positioned and worked by way along the edge of the card, cutting 7 in total - perfect for a rainbow of colour. I used 2 of the stitched stars to cut the colours, then placed them behind the card front and popped up on dimensionals, lastly mounting the card front on a Thick Whisper White card base, and there you have it, a fun Children's birthday card! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more i...

Ink It! Stamp It! Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek!

You are in for a treat today, the team at Ink It! Stamp It! are previewing items from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue (available 4th September), I can't wait to see what the team has created. I took ages to decide what to pop in my pre-order, and then it felt like an eternity for the order to arrive, but lucky for me I had a couple of day leave from work for some appointments and it also fitted perfectly with the arrival of my new goodies. I couldn't decide what to use first so I used a mixture of my order for my creation: Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Sentiment from So Many Stars Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink I stamped the metallic ink onto the vellum, in the right light it looks stunning, and would also look amazing with a darker colour behind it too. The Designer Series paper speaks for itself - the images are stunning AND the reverse side of each sheet is foiled, yes you read right!!!! Be sure to visit all the team and see their wonderful cre...
