Welcome to this month's Stampers Showcase Blog hop featuring our HOLIDAY CATALOGUE FAVOURITES, this is going to be such a fun hop!.... and I'm sure that I will be adding an item or two to my wish list.
The Holiday Catalogue is jam packed with gorgeous items, you are bound to find something that takes your fancy. After the agony of choice of what to item from the catalogue to highlight, I decided on the Yummy Christmas Stamp Set - not only can you make great cards (3D even), but also 3D projects, which is what I have to show you today.
Start by stamping and colouring your gingerbread house, then die cut 2 additional gingerbread house and a strip of card stock 15 cm long x 6 cm wide (6' x 2 1/2") - if you want a wider treat box simply change the width measurement.
Then score the strip at 5 & 10 cm (2" & 4'), then 1 cm (1/2") from each side. Now snip triangles out as in the picture below:
All that's left now is to create the "box", fold and burnish the score lines, and adhere:
Attach your coloured Gingerbread house and your box is complete, just waiting to be filled with some Christmas Treats.
Next on the hop is Leonie Stuart, click on the icon below to be taken to her blog and see her fabulous project.
