Thanks so much Sweet Symmetry

Hello, and welcome to the Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training to reach personal goals that we set to ourselves, and that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business. I'm so happy that you could join us all today for this blog hop full ideas and creative inspiration, be sure to continue through the list of demonstrators below. Today I'm sharing a Customer Thank You card that is uses one of my "go to" designs for showcasing Designer Series Paper - this is a sample of the Sweet Symmetry DSP. I find this design particularly good for "busy" DSP, it uses enough paper to make a statement, and at the same time doesn't overwhelm the eye. And of course I always like to add a touch of bling, when applying gem embellishments I usually stick to an odd number, in this case just 3 coloured rhinestones around the senti...

It's all about Backgrounds

Welcome crafty friends, are your ready to get ink to paper? I know I am! So.... lets get to it with the Background Stamping Blog Hop. I know, I know we sometimes overlook background stamps, they can be a bit big & scary, but that I say is the beauty of a background stamp - and I was super excited when I saw this years annual catalogue because not only were there new backgrounds stamps, but also some background dies...... so I've taken the liberty of showcasing one of the dies for a bit of a different take of creating a background. Creating a soft subtle background in one pass of your die cutting machine that pops enough to say "I'm here" but doesn't take away from the sentiment or floral elements. So don't be afraid of a large stamp, die or even stencil  as you can create your own background in a jiffy with these "oversized" items.  Be sure to continue through the list of amazing stampers below f...

Psychedelic Birthday to you

Do you struggle with a certain genre of card?  I do.... masculine cards, I'm much more a pretty pink and flower girl, so I must say I surprised myself when I saw this  CAS Colours & Sketches  Challenge: I took a litlle longer to complete the card and blog than I anticipated, and I missed the cut off for the challenge, but still wanted to share with you. My first thought was for a masculine card - I know what you are thinking - where is MissPink, this is not like her at all! I had the idea to add a "twist" to a card I created  last year , so I thought I would give it a go. Oh yeah baby (as Austin Powers would say), this card turned out super cool and masculine to boot, and was super fun to create - I couldn't be happier. To finish the card I added a birthday sentiment from Handsomely Suited . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click...
