It's all about Backgrounds

Welcome crafty friends, are your ready to get ink to paper? I know I am! So.... lets get to it with the Background Stamping Blog Hop.

I know, I know we sometimes overlook background stamps, they can be a bit big & scary, but that I say is the beauty of a background stamp - and I was super excited when I saw this years annual catalogue because not only were there new backgrounds stamps, but also some background dies...... so I've taken the liberty of showcasing one of the dies for a bit of a different take of creating a background.

Isn't the Stitched Greenery die just gorgeous? Creating a soft subtle background in one pass of your die cutting machine that pops enough to say "I'm here" but doesn't take away from the sentiment or floral elements.

So don't be afraid of a large stamp, die or even stencil  as you can create your own background in a jiffy with these "oversized" items.
