Hello crafters, welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Mint Macaron, Pacific Point, Highland Heather and Mossy Meadow. I received an order this week and have been wanting to use the Perfectly Penciled DSP, so that was my starting point.
I thought about colouring the images on the DSP with Stampin' Blends, but decided not to and let black and white be a feature of the card. I added stripes of Highland Heather and Mossy Meadow to either side of the DSP and adhered to the card base.
Next I cut a circle of Mint Macron and overlaid with a Scalloped Circle of Vellum, and stamped and cut the sentiment using the Sending Smiles bundle, bringing in Pacific Point to complete the colour challenge. But I needed another element, and when I scanned through my stamp sets decided that a Butterfly Brilliance die cut would do the trick.
To finish I added some Simply Elegant Gold Trim and Brushed Metallic Dots, the pop of gold adding just the right amount of bling.
