Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring Misty Moonlight, Shaded Spruce and oldy but a goody Melon Mambo - I've so neglected this colour of late.
I decided to create a different take on last months design - firstly by changing up to a horizontal slimline layout, and secondly to contain the colouring to within the trees.
I can't get enough of the Decorative Trees bundle, I adore all the variations of "inner" tree! Did you know that you can use the "solid tree" die cut to underlay the patterned trees, whist there are big and small tree designs, if you lay the solid tree at the top the tree lines up perfectly and all you need to do is trim off the bottom section.
I blended our colours onto basic white, the cut the solid trees then overlaid with 3 different designs. On the card front I blended a light layer Misty Moonlight to the top and bottom before hand cutting the "snow fields" and adhering. Next I heat embossed the sentiment the positioned the trees, lastly adding a Twine bow and Rhinestones.
