I've combined 2 challenges this weekend for this card,the sketch by Teneale Williams from Global Design for the card layout:
and the colour inspiration from Fab Friday:
The pod baby is from Friends & Flowers set and paired with Suite Sayings it makes a perfect welcome for a new baby.
I used the Squares Collection Framelits Dies to cut the scalloped trim, love how this turned out! I must remember that the largest of these framelits has the scalloped trim, it just adds that something extra.
I've used an Aqua Painter to add some shading to the pod leaves, and can you see the added sparkle from Wink of Stella? I've used lots of layers on this card, if you include all of the pod leaves there are 13, with Dimensionals and glue dots galore!
