Spooktacular Trick or Tweet

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Halloween Blog Hop, you are in for some fabulous ideas to celebrate Halloween. I've used the super cute Trick or Tweet stamp set to create the banner on my card - my daughter chose this set, she fell in love with the cat, so I made that the feature: How cute is that Kitty! The pumpkin he is holding is a separate stamp, so it can be used with any of the critters in the stamp set. The pumpkin led to to choose the background image form the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper .  I filled a Clear Tiny Treat Box with Chocolate Orange Candy, and tied with  Black 5/8" (1.6 Cm) Glittered Organdy Ribbon - this just gorgeous ribbon.  I to finish , I bandaged the banner with  the Glittered Ribbon, just like the bandaged kitty :)  Continue your way through our Halloween theme hop for more special treat ideas, you are currently visiting Sue Vine at Miss Pinks Craft Spot, click on each name be...

Thanks Jar of Love

Hello there, and welcome to the last Go For Greece Blog Hop. Whilst I didn't qualify for the Greece trip, I've learnt a number of things through the year, and that made my try some different things.  I also challenged myself to blogging every day for a month something I had never done before, and I'm pleased to say I DID IT - I did have doubts that I would, so that in itself is something that I learnt - have faith in myself that I can do what I set out to achieve..... so Maui here I come! Through out the year Kylie organised regular speakers, and I want to say "Thank You" to all of them - I'm at my 9-5 job when they are doing their live talk, but the replays are fabulous, so here's a project to say thanks to everyone that has participated in the group. I've used the Jar of Love Stamp set with Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake are a gorgeous combination, and spritzed with some Champagne Mist is jus...

Love & Thanks Tropical Chic

I just can't get enough of the Tropical Chic stamp set ... maybe it is because I am wishing Spring weather would be here to stay instead of teasing me with a nice day, then the next cold, wet and and windy. Oh well, with the thought of warmer days to come I created this card for the Facebook  Stampin' Up! Colour Challenge Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green drew me to Tropical Chic (any excuse really!), this is what I was inspired to create with these colours: I added texture to the background using the Subtle Embossing folder , and Gold embossed the sentiment, adding a thin highlight of Melon Mambo above the banner to make it pop. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. If you live in Australia and don't already have a demonstrator I'd love love to be yours.  I would love to update you when I create a post. If you would like to receive an ema...

Hello and welcome to this months International Highlights hosted by Kylie Bertucci. Our theme this month is all about Congratulations. After all, there are so many things to celebrate friends that have had a baby or got married, even a new house, or job promotion. There are many things to Congratulate our friends and family on. I've used the Inspired Events stamp set for my creation today, this set is full of lots of events that we celebrate: As you can see from above, this set is great for specific occasions, and I adore the corner images and the background stamp, such pretty details. I decided to create a general "congratulations" card, I stamped the flowers in Gorgeous Grape, and filled with Highland Heather, then fussy cut.  I laid a little Granny Apple Green onto watercolour paper with an aqua painter and edged with Coastal Cabana. I used the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the background, to ma...
