Flurry of Wishes

It's never to early to be planning for Christmas, this was going to be a quick card using the new Flurry of Wishes stamp set available in this years SU Holiday Catalogue with MOJO412 for my inspiration.



But what I first planned didn't work, too much of the large snowflake was hidden, I was so disappointed, how to use Flurry of Wishes......then my mojo kicked in and what was going to be a simple card has turned into my first "shaker" card!

I have been wanting to try a shaker card for some time now, I also divided the area into sections so that the sequins would stay at the top of the card - I think it was worth the additional effort.


 I used Whisper White and Marina Mist cardstock.  Tip - I cut the Shaker frame using 2 framelits from the Marina Mist, saves on cardstock.

 I stamped the background using Marina Mist on the 2 small stamps, and Soft Sky for the medium size stamp, the sentiment is also stamped in Marina Mist.  

 My craft room is now also covered with Dazzling Diamonds!  I love this stuff, it is so delicate, but so effective - but I do love my bling!

 Thank you Mojo Monday & Julee for the inspiration, now I have made the first of maybe many shaker cards!
The other great thing about Flurry of Wishes is that it is available in a bundle, so you can not only stamp, but you can punch your snowflakes, and you save 15% when you purchase as a bundle.

Hello crafty friends, I'm using one of my favourite layouts today with the simply gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP . I decided to make the card using Pool Party cardstock to complement the blue flowers in a bed of purples, I think it turned out lovely. All Star Design Team - Lighter Than Air

Color Fusers Blog Hop June 2023

Hello everyone, it's the beginning of a new month, so that means it's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations will feature the new pink - Bubble Bath, the returning Pretty Peacock, and Pool Party. I decided on the pastel approach, I began with creating my background with a paper stencil cut using the cloud die from Basic Borders , working from Pretty Peacock to Pool Party and finishing with Bubble Bath towards the bottom of the card, moving the stencil a little each time so as to not have identical clouds in a line. I was excited to try a creation with the Beautiful Balloons Bundle - I traced the outside edge of the balloon die then blended each colour, leaving the right hand side a little lighter, the inked up the "detail" stamp for the balloons just on the left and stamped.  Once die cut, I then stamped the ribbon and sentiment, before mounting the balloons with Dimensionals . Color Fusers Blog Hop January 2024

Happy New Year! It's a new month, so that means it's time for the Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations feature Parakeet Party, Daffodil Delight and one of my old favourites Melon Mambo! What a bright and bubbly combination, so I decided to create a "Feel Better Soon" card - I'm seeing a number of friends posting on Facebook that they have come done with Covid, so this will be perfect to lift their spirits. I've used a new stamp set from the up coming catalogue released in a couple of days " Painted Lavender ", and not with a hit of purple in sight! The layered sentiment from Wanted to Say Dies is perfect for this design - and I finished with some Bakers Twine. All Star All About Autumn Class Bundle
