Stampin Friends Easter Hop

Hello, welcome to the Stampin Friends blog Hop! I am so excited to be a Guest Hopper this month, I hope that you are inspired by the projects created for this months theme - Easter. Make sure that you work you way through the entire Hop by clicking on the names at the end of my post so that you don't miss at thing!

Can you believe that Easter is less than a month away! I really must get a move on with preparation of gifts, here is the first of a few that I need before Easter is upon us:

I've mixed some old with the new, my basket of goodies is made using the new Window Box thinlets and the card features the Circle of Spring wreath.

The base of the basket was easy to make using the Window Box thinlets. The Hexagon is cut in half and the second diecut is also trimmed to remove some of the bulk, to create the "basket weave" I used the cut outs from the horizontal die cuts and wove them back into the basket and glued in place. I added a half inch strip of cardstock for the handle, but I wanted something a little more special, so added the satin ribbon and bow to dress it up then packed it full of yummy goodness!

When looking for an Easter sentiment noticed Circle of Spring on my shelf, I can't remember the last time I used this set, the delicate flowers are just lovely and paired with the double bow perfectly compliment the basket. The wreath is stamped on watercolour paper and I also heat embossed with clear powder so that the Crumb Cake didn't run when colouring the flowers - I had a little "accident" and ended up with ink in the circle of my wreath, so I die cut the middle and then heat embossed my sentiment with Crumb Cake and clear embossing power in the background.

Don't forget to click the Next link to follow along on the hop.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Thank you for everything Hues of Happiness

Hello crafty friends, I'm using one of my favourite layouts today with the simply gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP . I decided to make the card using Pool Party cardstock to complement the blue flowers in a bed of purples, I think it turned out lovely. I added detail to the card front by using the Scalloped edge from the Scalloped Contours Dies , and heat embossed a sentiment in silver from the Color & Contour stamp set .  To finish I added a touch of bling with Rhinestone  Basic Jewels . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. Color Fusers Blog Hop May 2024

It's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Pebbled Path, Bubble Bath and Moody Mauve - perfect colours for a Mother's Day Card! I've used the new Attention Shoppers Bundle for my design - a super fun set with a mix of font and cute pictures that can be mixed and matched to be used for so many occasions. I added some InColor DSP and cut the feature circle using the online exclusive  Everyday Details Dies  - they are just amazing, I missed them being released due to being so busy at work - so take it from me, make sure you keep an eye on the Online Exclusives released each March, July and November. I decided on a "wash of colour" using Stampin' Blends then die cut with the coordinating dies. After stamping the sentiment I adhered the 3 die cut images and finished by adding a touch of bling with Silver ribbon and Basic Rhinestones. Fancy Folds Stampers Showcase - Hues of Happiness Circle Easel Card

Hello there crafters! You are going to love today's Stamper Showcase Blog Hop - we are all featuring FUN FOLDS, I just love a fun fold, I should really do more of them! I decided to a Circle Easel Card, it's a smaller card, but I think you will agree is just super cute, and with the Hues of Happiness DSP is just Gorgeous! This card is a relatively simple for a fun fold and comes together very quickly - I think I spent more time doing the floral arrangement than the actual fun fold itself. I took advantage of being able to die cut images directly from the Hues of Happiness DSP - I love it when we can do this with DSP, and aren't the flowers just stunning! I took 3 different flowers and some foliage and arranged to fit within the Basic White Circle cut from the largest circle die in Layering Circles Dies set, and the largest scallop die is used for the coloured section of the card. To create the card base you need to fold a piece of card stock and positon the largest die slig

Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2024

Hello July! and welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring the Black, White and a colour of our choice. Well, I just happened to have Pretty in Pink on my desk from another project, and being pink, that became the colour of my choice! I started by grabbing a blending brush and applying Pretty in Pink, then run my fingers under the tap and splattered water onto the pink - the longer you leave the water the more colour it draws out from the card stock. When the card front had dried completely I stamped the butterfly and sentiment from Sketched Butterflies , adding splatters with a Stampin Write marker and the "splatter" stamp from Layering Leaves . To finish I splattered some Wink of Stella and added some rhinestones for that touch of bling!
