I've been feeling a bit down, and mojo has been alluding me, but tonight I decided I WILL CRAFT, so I reached for some of my favourite retiring colours.... basically anything PINK!
Now, with Pink Pirouette and Rose Red I had colours in my comfort zone, now for a stamp set.... I scanned my retiring stamp sets, and then it all came together when I saw the poodle in the Birthday Delivery set, I had my project!
Once I coloured the poodle with Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends I embossed a layer of Pink Pirouette with Polka Dot Basics, and added Organza Ribbon - did you know you can colour this ribbon by pressing into your ink pad (be sure to wear gloves) or popping a few drops of re-inker into a press seal bag with the ribbon, how versatile is that!
I created the sentiment using select words form the stamp set, masking unwanted letters to create "for you" - masking is a fantastic technique, one of my favourites!
The DSP features bright bubbly colours perfect for "boy cards" as well as adorably pretty images for "girl cards". Here are some projects I have made with the suite
Don't forget that you can use small stamps to create backgrounds, like I have here with the present stamp.
This suite is retiring on May 31st, get these gorgeously cute and versatile items while you can!

Wow, after walking in my craft room for 4 days with no hint of creation I was super surprised at how quickly an idea struck! Maybe it was the power of Pink, hahaha, anyway I am so happy that I've been able to create!

The Birthday Delivery stamp set and Birthday Friends Framelits are part of the Birthday Memories Suite. Another feature of this suite is that the coordinating framelits also cut images from the matching Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper!
