Happy Friday, so glad it is the end of the working week for me, whilst is was shorter than normal it seemed realllllly long - don't you just hate those types of weeks!
I'm having my own celebration of the week being done by breaking out a new stamp set for me - Dandelion Wishes and playing along with the team at the Global Design Project with their CASE the Designer Challenge.
I adore Louise's creations (not to mention there is usually a touch of pink which is always pleasing to my eye), so I just had to take the challenge.
I know this isn't the first time this set has been combined with Boekh Dots, but I had to do it, I love the effect and combination of the two sets. I took up the challenge of CASEing a stamped background, but instead of using a large background stamp, I opted to repeatedly stamp a small image, and used Petal Pink - it's more of a peachy pink than a pink pink, but it's still pink!
The combination of Petal Pink and Crumb Cake layers looks lovely, add a bow with some Linen Thread and you are done! There are lots of other pastel colour combinations that look fab with natural colours too, Mint Macaroon, and Soft Sea Foam come to mind immediately, how many can you think of?
Stamp sets & Framelits: Dandelion Wishes & Bokeh Dots
Ink: Crumb Cake, Petal Pink
