What to do on a lazy Sunday..... play with new stamp sets of course, but where to begin? When I don't know where to begin I find that a sketch challenge can be just what is needed to make images fall into place, and that's what happened when I looked at this weeks Global Design challenge
I knew I wanted to use the Climbing Roses Bundle, and wanted to incorporate the the beautiful die cut, here's what I was inspired to create from the sketch
I used the die cut to act as a trellis, layering it on top of the large floral arrangement coloured with Stampin' Blends, then coloured and die cut smaller flowers and foliage to layer on top, then used the Well Said stamp set for the sentiment (an amazing set with 51 sentiments & phrases to choose from), lastly splattering a little Crumb Cake and Old Olive with an Aqua Painter.
With thanks to the GDP sketch I've created my first project using the Climbing Roses bundle from the Occasions catalogue, I couldn't be happier.
