Positive Thoughts with GDP233

What a crazy state the world is in at the moment, I hope you are all well and safe. I drew inspiration from the colour challenge at the Global Design Project - I've always had a love for pastels, so I just had to make a card for this challenge.

This card features the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, which also has matching Dies, but not for today's creation - I tried a #simplestamping project. 

To keep the colours super pastel, I used 2nd generation stamping (inking up then stamping off on a piece of scrap paper, then stamp the card front), a super easy technique that gives a wonder subtle effect ***

I feel I maybe went a little past #simplestamping, I added a "bling" factor by embossing the sentiment in gold, then added some ink splatters to fill in the white space, and before I knew it was adding Shimmer Paint to the side panel of the card and had also splattered that to the front of the card too! So for #simplestamping, stop at ***  Here's a better shot of the "shimmer factor" that I took with a lamp shining on the project.
