Stampin' Up! Lovley You for a cherished friend

I found some new challenge blogs today, and this design is courtesy of the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches.

I love sketches, they are a great way to keep your creativity on a roll. I took the sketch quite literally, here's what I was inspired to create.

I used the Lovely You stamp set for this creation, and my trusty sponge daubers - I do wonder where I would be without them some days.  I used 3 stamps to create my flourish, stamping the leaves in Pretty Peacock and the flowers with Highland Heather.  I used the daubers to ink up the stems, then if need wiped the ink from the flower, then applied Highland Heather with a dauber for the flower.

For the circle element, I created a mask, then used a soft brush to put a light coating of Seaside Spray, then added a hint of Balmy Blue in the centre. Lastly adding a sentiment and Rhinestone Jewels for that touch of bling.
