Nothing's Better Than.... Fun in the Sun

Fun in the Sun..... I'm in the southern hemisphere, so I wish! It seems like weeks that I've had thermals and the heater on at home, so even the thought of Fun in the Sun makes me feel a little warmer.

When I think of a fun in the sun day, it is with family and friends, and in more cases than not there would be a favourite bevvy involved, so I decided that the Nothing's Better Than stamp set was perfect!

I've used Polished Pink, Tahitian Tide and Coastal Cabana as my colour theme, I used the Deckled Rectangle dies to "tear" the sides of the cardstock; these dies are now my "go to" for rough finishes as I don't like tearing cardstock by hand - weird I know, but hey it's just a "me thing".

As July is watercolour month, I used that theme for the Shimmery White background and colouring of my cocktails. I added some shimmer to the glasses with Wink of Stella, and some Tahitian Tide In Color Twine twine and Basic Rhinestone Gems to finish.
