Lovely You - just because

Hello crafty friends, I'm joining the colour challenge at CC&S today - I haven't done one of these for a while, but when I saw pink..... 

I'll be honest, I haven't used much Melon Mambo for some time, Polished Pink has been my "go to" hot pink, and Crushed Curry would be one of my least used colours in my Stampin' Up! palette. 

I mixed up the stamping of the flowers from the Lovely You stamp set, then cut with Layering Circle dies, and cut a coordinating Scalloped circle. I varied the layout of the circles on the card front to break the symmetry of the card design.

Next I cut and layered strips of Melon Mambo and Shaded Spruce to the card base, then attached the card front. The sentiment is White heat embossed, and layered onto scraps of the challenge colours.

Both the dies and stamp set are soon to retire, so get them before they are gone. I was also shocked when I realised my favourite scalloped edge die from Penned Flowers is retiring too.
