Inspiration can come from the oddest of things or places - I woke up to the sound of rain on the roof this morning and decided it was time to get inky with Playing in the Rain
My colour choice is from this weeks Global Design Challenge - Tahitian Tide scares me a little as it is so bright, but it turns out to be fantastic and give a nice lift of colour on my card I think!
I used the cloud die from Basic Borders for the upper portion of the card, blending Tahitian Tide to give the layers a viewable lift and stand out. Stampin Blends and a Colour Lifter created the lights and darks for the focal image using the colours from the challenge.
As you can see from the stamp set images, I did a mismash of the images, starting with the rabbit, then masking and overlaying the fox to stamp the umbrella - masking is one of my favourite techniques, whilst it can be a little tricky with some designs the results are well worth it, giving you so much more flexibility with creativity within a stamp set.
This stamp set isn't retiring, but it will be your last change go grab it as a bundle with coordinating dies, so get your complete set while you can save 10% on the bundle.
You can check out all the retiring items in my online store HERE, remember items are available only while stocks last - some items have already sold out, so don't hesitate, grab yours while you still can.
