Punch Art Moose with Merry Monday

I have had the amazing honour of being ask to be a guest designer this week with the team from Merry Monday!  Here is my card:

Below is Nina's theme for this weeks challenge:

I don't have a moose stamp, so I thought I would give punch art a try, or a variation of punch art as I also used framelits:

The moose head, antlers and eyes are made from framelits in the Snow Friends set, I also used an oval die to round the bottom edge of the antlers. The end of the candy cane was used for the white of the eyes and the holly framelit for the tuft of hair.

I used the Tree builder punch for the nostrils and tongue, and the small circle from the Owl punch for the eye balls.

Sequins attached to Cording trim make up the Christmas lights that my poor Moose is tangled in!

The sentiment is from Peaceful Pines.

Thank you for stopping by today, and for your wonderful encouraging comments, til next time,

Thank you for everything Hues of Happiness

Hello crafty friends, I'm using one of my favourite layouts today with the simply gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP . I decided to make the card using Pool Party cardstock to complement the blue flowers in a bed of purples, I think it turned out lovely. I added detail to the card front by using the Scalloped edge from the Scalloped Contours Dies , and heat embossed a sentiment in silver from the Color & Contour stamp set .  To finish I added a touch of bling with Rhinestone  Basic Jewels . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If you live in Australia and don't already have a Demonstrator I'd love to be yours.  Hues of Happiness DSP Scalloped Contour Dies   Color & Cont

Color Fusers Blog Hop May 2024

It's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Pebbled Path, Bubble Bath and Moody Mauve - perfect colours for a Mother's Day Card! I've used the new Attention Shoppers Bundle for my design - a super fun set with a mix of font and cute pictures that can be mixed and matched to be used for so many occasions. I added some InColor DSP and cut the feature circle using the online exclusive  Everyday Details Dies  - they are just amazing, I missed them being released due to being so busy at work - so take it from me, make sure you keep an eye on the Online Exclusives released each March, July and November. I decided on a "wash of colour" using Stampin' Blends then die cut with the coordinating dies. After stamping the sentiment I adhered the 3 die cut images and finished by adding a touch of bling with Silver ribbon and Basic Rhinestones. Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2024

Hello July! and welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring the Black, White and a colour of our choice. Well, I just happened to have Pretty in Pink on my desk from another project, and being pink, that became the colour of my choice! I started by grabbing a blending brush and applying Pretty in Pink, then run my fingers under the tap and splattered water onto the pink - the longer you leave the water the more colour it draws out from the card stock. When the card front had dried completely I stamped the butterfly and sentiment from Sketched Butterflies , adding splatters with a Stampin Write marker and the "splatter" stamp from Layering Leaves . To finish I splattered some Wink of Stella and added some rhinestones for that touch of bling! Color Fusers Blog Hop June 2024

Hello and welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring the 2024-2026 InColors. I decided to create a "mixer" using all the colours with a stamp from Country Birdhouse. The flowers are a mix of Petunia Pop and Pretty in Pink with a Peach Pie centre, with Shy Shamrock leaves.  I used a Blender Brush with Summer Splash to the top and bottom of the card, working from the bottom edge up fading the colour as I went, then added a touch to the top for symmetry. To finish I added a touch of bling with Iridescent Pearls. These colours just "pop", so bright and cheery!
