When I saw the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches earlier this week, I was like YES - I know exactly what I will showcase, then I scrolled down......... and oh NO, a designer had already used the same stamp set I had thought of! So I thought I will come back later, well several days later I still had "crafters block", Monday came around, the last day I can enter, I'm still feeling torn, do I use the original set I had thought of, or to I try something different.........
My original plan was for Flurry of Wishes, as you can see from the sketch below it would be the perfect showcase:
I opted to go with something different, believe it or not this is actually my 3rd attempt at something different - Plan C took me to one of my favourite bundles - Snow Place!
I just love these little guys, aren't they adorable? I am also becoming very fond of the snowflake stamp in this set, 3 different snowflakes on the 1 stamp - I've stamped using Soft Sky. The sentiment is also from this set.
I decided to stamp the snowmen in Smoky Slate rather than Basic Black today to soften the card. I used Heat & Stick powder on the Soft Sky layer and then adhered Dazzling Diamonds - I just love the effect (sadly my photo has shadows as it is now dark in Adelaide - no natural light to show off the glitter).
Hope you have enjoyed viewing my card, come again soon.
